In this page are contained all the lists of number-one singles from the Official Finnish Charts, the official Finnish music charts that began in 1989. Musiikkituottajat – IFPI Finland, the association of Finnish music industry, publishes currently three separate singles charts: the Official Finnish Singles Chart (''Suomen virallinen singlelista'') which takes into account both physical singles and digital tracks (singles, promotional singles and non-singles), the Official Finnish Download Chart (''Suomen virallinen latauslista''), which since February 2007 has listed tracks accordingly to their digital sales, and the Official Finnish Airplay Chart, which since 24 November 2013 has listed tracks accordingly to their airplay. JVG (band)
JVG (formerly known as Jare & VilleGalle) is a Finnish rap duo made up of Jare Joakim Brand (born 8 October 1987) and Ville-Petteri Galle (born 4 October 1987). Their style is often referred to as sport rap. Both Jare and Ville are passionate athletes and originally became famous for their unique and comical sports-themed songs, where they rapped about ice hockey, soccer, doping, Finnish sportspeople (such as Jari Litmanen and Teemu Selänne), snus and playing NHL video games. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, JVG held a virtual reality concert on the first of May in a simulated version of Helsinki, with estimated attendance somewhere from 700,000 to over 1,000,000. "#Selfie" (stylized in all caps with hashtag) is a song produced by American DJ duo the Chainsmokers. It was released on January 29, 2014, through Dim Mak Records. Background and promotion The Chainsmokers, composed of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, had noticed how the word ''selfie'' had become a trend and they wanted to take advantage of it. They made a demo of a song containing a monologue from a female clubber about taking good selfies. Inspiration came from the regular club going women that the Chainsmokers saw on their nights out in New York City. So when they were composing the track, they wanted to incorporate the "let me take a selfie" line in it somehow. The Chainsmokers described in an interview with ''The Phoenix New Times'', Honestly, "#Selfie" is kind of a phenomenon for us. We made it and thought it was funny and put it out as an edit. Juha Leevi Antero Tapio (born 5 February 1974) is a Finnish singer, lyricist, composer and guitarist. His album ''Mitä silmät ei nää'' (2003) sold gold and the album ''Kaunis ihminen'' (2006) reached platinum. He is married to Raija Mattila, and together they have two sons, Mikael and Akseli.
