This is a list of metropolitan areas in Northern America, typically defined to include Canada and the United States as well as Bermuda ( UK), Greenland ( Denmark), and St. Pierre and Miquelon ( France). The Inland Empire (IE) is a metropolitan area and region inland of and adjacent to coastal Southern California, centering around the cities of San Bernardino and Riverside, and bordering Los Angeles County to the west.
