James Warburton (physician)
James Warburton (June 30, 1855 – February 9, 1928) was a physician and political figure in Prince Edward Island, Canada. He represented 5th Queens in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island from 1904 to 1912 as a Liberal member. He was born in Woodbrook, Lot 10, Prince Edward Island, the son of James Warburton and Martha C. Green, and was educated at St. Dunstan's College, Prince of Wales College and Windsor College. Warburton went on to study medicine at the University of Edinburgh and practiced in Fife for some time. In 1882, he returned to practice in Charlottetown. Warburton was elected mayor of Charlottetown in 1893, in 1900 and in 1902. In 1887, he married Louise Margaretta Hobkirk. John McKenna (mayor)
John McKenna ( ga, Seán Mac Cionnaoith; 3 January 1855 – 22 March 1936) was an Irish businessman, professional rugby player, and the first manager of the Liverpool Football Club which has since gone on to become one of the most successful football clubs in England. Early life and career McKenna was born on 3 January 1855 in Donagh Parish, Glaslough, Ireland. He was the son of Patrick McKenna and Jane McCrudden. In the 1870s he moved to Liverpool seeking work which he soon found at a grocery store, and later as a vaccination officer for the West Derby Union. McKenna had a keen interest in sports, particularly rugby, as well as football and shooting sports. He helped form a regimental rugby club and joined the West Lancashire County Rugby Football Union. Robert Harold Jenkins (June 30, 1873 – November 5, 1939) was a merchant, investment dealer and political figure in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Benjamin Charles Prowse
Benjamin Charles Prowse (10 December 1862 – 22 February 1930) was a Canadian merchant and politician. He was born near Charlottetown, the son of William Prowse and attended public school there. He worked as a clerk for a dry goods firm there before finding work in his brother Lemuel's clothing store. By 1886, Prowse had become junior partner in his brother's firm. He married Amanda Maud Millner in 1886. Prowse served on the Charlottetown council from 1904 to 1908 and was the 15th mayor from 1908 to 1910. He served in the local militia from 1878 to 1896. He became president of the Prowse Brothers firm in 1925 after his brother's death. Prowse also helped establish Carter and Company Limited and served as its president. In 1911, he was summoned to the Senate of Canada on the advice of Wilfrid Laurier representing the senatorial division of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
