Decocidio
Decocidio (stylized as decocidio) is an anonymous, autonomous collective of hacktivists founded by lea, best known by her username ‘lea0xfff’, a Belgian-Brazilian hacker. Decocidio is part of Earth First!, a radical environmental protest organisation, and adheres to Climate Justice Action. In their hacks the group shows affiliation with the autonomous ''Hackbloc'' collective. The logo of the collective is an upper case theta preceded by a number sign (#Θ). In many scripting languages the symbol ‘#’ introduces a comment that goes to the end of the line. The upper case theta was in 1969 made into an ''Ecology Symbol'' by cartoonist Ron Cobb, that later became associated with Earth Day. This letter of the Greek alphabet also pictured on the Ecology Flag used by American environmentalists in the 1970s. globalHell was a group of hackers, composed of about 60 individuals. The group disbanded in 1999, when 12 members were prosecuted for computer intrusion and 30 for lesser offences. Rocket Kitten or the Rocket Kitten Group is a hacker group thought to be linked to the Iranian government. The threat actor group has targeted organizations and individuals in the Middle East, particularly Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iran as well as the United States and Europe. Origins Cybersecurity firm FireEye first identified the group as Ajax Security Team, writing that the group appears to have been formed in 2010 by the hacker personas "Cair3x" and "HUrr!c4nE!". By 2012, the threat actor group turned their focus to Iran's political opponents. Their targeted attack campaigns, dubbed "Rocket Kitten", have been known since mid-2014. Fancy Bear
Fancy Bear (also known as APT28 (by Mandiant), Pawn Storm, Sofacy Group (by Kaspersky), Sednit, Tsar Team (by FireEye) and STRONTIUM (by Microsoft)) is a Russian cyber espionage group. Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike has said with a medium level of confidence that it is associated with the Russian military intelligence agency GRU. The UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office as well as security firms SecureWorks, ThreatConnect, and Mandiant, have also said the group is sponsored by the Russian government. In 2018, an indictment by the United States Special Counsel identified Fancy Bear as GRU Unit 26165. The name "Fancy Bear" comes from a coding system security researcher Dmitri Alperovitch uses to identify hackers. The Equation Group, classified as an advanced persistent threat, is a highly sophisticated threat actor suspected of being tied to the Tailored Access Operations (TAO) unit of the United States National Security Agency (NSA). Kaspersky Labs describes them as one of the most sophisticated cyber attack groups in the world and "the most advanced ... we have seen", operating alongside the creators of Stuxnet and Flame. Most of their targets have been in Iran, Russia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Syria, and Mali. The name originated from the group's extensive use of encryption. By 2015, Kaspersky documented 500 malware infections by the group in at least 42 countries, while acknowledging that the actual number could be in the tens of thousands due to its self-terminating protocol. He is known for being a regular presenter at multiple Hacker con, hacking conferences, but is best known as the creator of the "Binary Revolution" initiative, including being the founding host and producer of ''Binary Revolution Radio'', a long-running weekly Internet radio show which ran 200 episodes from 2003 to 2007.
