Thanksgiving is a Federal holidays in the United States, federal holiday in the United States celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. It is sometimes called American Thanksgiving (outside the United States) to distinguish it from Thanksgiving (Canada), the Canadian holiday of the same name and Thanksgiving, related celebrations in other regions. It originated as a Days of humiliation and thanksgiving, day of thanksgiving and harvest festival, with the theme of the holiday revolving around giving thanks and the centerpiece of Thanksgiving celebrations remaining a Thanksgiving dinner. Merrie Melodies
''Merrie Melodies'' is an American animation, animated series of comedy short films produced by Warner Bros. starting in 1931, during the golden age of American animation, and ending in 1969. Then some new cartoons were produced from the late 1970s to the late 1990s, as well as other made productions beginning in 1972. As with its sister series, ''Looney Tunes'', it featured cartoon characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and Elmer Fudd. Between 1934 and 1943, the ''Merrie Melodies'' series were distinguished from the black-and-white, Buddy (Looney Tunes), Buddy or Porky Pig–starring ''Looney Tunes'' shorts by an emphasis on one-shot stories in color featuring Warner Bros.–owned musical selections. After Bugs Bunny became the breakout recurring star of ''Merrie Melodies'', and ''Looney Tunes'' went to color in the early 1940s, the two series gradually lost their distinctions and shorts were assigned to each series more randomly. Tom Turk And Daffy
''Tom Turk and Daffy'' is a 1944 Warner Bros. ''Looney Tunes'' cartoon directed by Chuck Jones. The cartoon was released on February 12, 1944, and stars Porky Pig and Daffy Duck. Michael Maltese and Tedd Pierce are both the writers of the short, and are credited here as "The Staff". The voices of Daffy and Porky were provided by Mel Blanc, while Tom Turk was voiced by Billy Bletcher. Plot On a cold snowy day, Daffy Duck is making a snowman until he hears gunfire in the distance. A turkey, named Tom Turk, desperately begs Daffy to hide him from Porky Pig, who here is portrayed as a pilgrim hunting for a turkey for a turkey dinner. Daffy agrees and hides Tom in the snowman he made and proclaims to Porky that he won't tell him where his turkey went, as locks appear on his beak. Inside the snowman, Tom Turk mutters, "What a pal, what a pal, what a pal, what a pal, what a pal. What a pal". Huey, Dewey, And Louie
Huey, Dewey, and Louie are triplet cartoon characters created by storyboard artist ( screenwriter) Carl Barks for The Walt Disney Company from an idea proposed by cartoonist Al Taliaferro and are the nephews of Donald Duck and the grand-nephews of Scrooge McDuck. Like their maternal uncles, the brothers are anthropomorphic white ducks with yellow-orange bills and feet. The boys are sometimes distinguished by the color of their shirts and baseball caps (with Huey wearing red, Dewey wearing blue, and Louie wearing green). They featured in many ''Donald Duck'' animated shorts and in the television show ''DuckTales'' and its reboot, but comics remain their primary medium.
