England is a country that is part of the United Kingdom. It shares land borders with Wales to its west and Scotland to its north. The Irish Sea lies northwest and the Celtic Sea to the southwest. Kingsland Road (band)
Kingsland Road (originally Kingsland) were an English rock and roll-style and urban-inspired funk and disco boy band formed in 2012. The band is made up of Matt Cahill, Joe "Connor" Conaboy, JJ Thompson (known by his surname) and Josh Zaré. Originally a five-piece that included Jay Scott, they were the fourth contestant eliminated on the tenth series of ''The X Factor'' in 2013. Kingsland Road released their debut single "Dirty Dancer" in August 2014 and it peaked at number 85 on the UK Singles Chart. On 23 October, Scott quit the band due to lack of enjoyment. Their debut album ''We Are the Young'' was released in March 2015. The group announced they were splitting up in June 2015. In 2019, they announced a reunion show on 21 December 2019. Rebecca Claire Hill (born 14 February 1994) is a British singer from Bewdley, England. She rose to prominence after appearing on the first series of the then BBC (now ITV) talent contest ''The Voice UK'', auditioning with John Legend's "Ordinary People". She joined Jessie J's team and reached the semi-final of the competition. On 29 June 2014 she became the first (and only thus far) ''The Voice UK'' contestant to score a UK number 1 when the song, "Gecko (Overdrive)" with Oliver Heldens topped the UK Singles Chart. Won Mississippi is an alternative post hardcore band based in Berwick-Upon-Tweed, UK. The group, which formed in 2001, consists of Patrick Baird (vocals), Rob Wilkinson (guitars), Dan Richards (bass) and Adam Roberts (drums). History Won Mississippi quickly created a strong fan-base in North East England, and started to gig regularly across Southern and Central Scotland. They also performed consistently in Newcastle upon Tyne supporting several bands including Mavis, Josephine and Antihero. Sir Christopher Frank Carandini Lee (27 May 1922 – 7 June 2015) was an English actor and singer. Don Broco are a British rock band formed in Bedford, England, in 2008. The band consists of Rob Damiani (lead vocals), Simon Delaney (guitar), Tom Doyle (bass and programming) and Matt Donnelly (drums, lead and backing vocals). Briganté
Briganté is a rock/indie/alternative band from Bedford, United Kingdom. They are known for singing in a deep melodic style. Beginnings Simon Cronin (lead singer), Chris Mills (electric guitar), Padraig Clarke (3/4 guitar) and Luke Fattorusso (bass guitar/backing vocals) were initially part of a cover band. After little success performing in several local gigs raising money for charity, the cover band eventually ran its course. At this point it was decided that a new band should be formed with some of the members from the original. This led to the creation of Rate of the Day (ROTD) in May 2006. While predominantly an indie band, ROTD branched into areas of rock and roll and alternative rock, with songs such as "Waging War" and "Takin' Part". Fearless Vampire Killers (band)
Fearless Vampire Killers (FVK) are a five-piece English theatrical alternative rock band formed in Beccles in 2008. Their line-up consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Laurence Beveridge, vocalist and rhythm guitarist Kier Kemp, bassist Drew Woolnough, lead guitarist Cyrus Barrone (Shane Sumner) and drummer Luke Illingworth (Pilnahn). The name of the band originated from the 1967 Roman Polanski comedy horror film ''The Fearless Vampire Killers''. Their debut studio album Militia of the Lost was set for release on 7 May 2012 through Goremount Records, but the physical release was pushed back to 14 May 2012. Propellerheads were an English electronic music duo, formed in 1995 in Bath and consisting of Will White and Alex Gifford. History Their first release was an EP named ''Dive!'', released in 1996 through the independent label Wall of Sound. They gained fame the next year by providing a remix for James Bond movie composer David Arnold's Bond tribute album '' Shaken & Stirred: The David Arnold James Bond Project'' covering John Barry's " On Her Majesty's Secret Service", the theme song to the sixth James Bond film, re-orchestrated by Arnold.
