The Argentine Ambassador to Peru is the Ambassador of the Argentine government to the government of Peru. The ambassador services the Embassy of Argentina, Lima, Argentine embassy located in the district of San Isidro District, Lima, San Isidro, in Lima. Both countries Argentina–Peru relations, established relations in 1822, with both countries having come into existence as a result of Argentine-born José de San Martín's campaigns in the Argentine War of Independence, River Plate and Peruvian War of Independence, Lower Peru during the Spanish American wars of independence.
