ÖAF
ÖAF is an initialism for Österreichische Automobil-Fabrik (literally ''Austrian automobile factory''), previously known as Österreichische Austro-Fiat, an Austrian (Austro-Hungarian) car and truck manufacturer that now is completely incorporated into MAN. Austro-Fiat ÖAF was created by Fiat in 1907 and is now part of the German MAN group. The manufacture of automobiles began in the new plant built for the occasion in Vienna in 1908, while the number was only 50 employees. A truck of 4 tonnes, similar to the Italian Fiat model was manufactured from 1911. It was originally Austro-Fiat, which during the First World War began to develop their own products. In 1925 the Austro-Fiat brand expired and the company became Osterreichische Automobil Fabrik AG, under the abbreviation ÖAF, with preservation of the trademark filed earlier. Gomselmash (trade name — Open Joint Stock Company "Gomselmash") is a Belarusian manufacturer of agricultural machinery based in Gomel. History The construction of an agricultural machinery plant in Gomel began in 1928. October 15, 1930, is considered the birthday of the Gomselmash plant, when the foundry produced the first melt. The plant's reaching its design capacity and its successful operation in the 1930s allowed the USSR to completely abandon the import of dozens of types of machines for fodder production, grain farming, flax and hemp growing, primary processing of bast crops — now Gomselmash provided agricultural producers with such machines. Nakhchivan Automobile Plant ( az, Naxçıvan Avtomobil Zavodu), better known as NAZ, is an automobile manufacturer in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. History Nakhchivan Automobile Factory was founded in 2006. It was put into operation on January 11, 2010. Baku 2015 European Games signed NAZ as Official Supporter. Ganja Auto Plant
Ganja Auto Plant ( az, Gəncə Avtomobil Zavodu) is an auto assembly plant situated in the Ganja city in Azerbaijan. The factory was founded in 1986 as KiAZ (Kirovabad Automobile Plant) for a production of run of 30,000 "GAZelle" vans according to the project brief. The commissioning was intended to end in 1989 but following a decision of Council of Ministers of the former USSR the construction of the factory was interrupted and the technological project was given to the Bryansk Automobile Plant. The 256 hectares of overall territory, including the 50 hectares of the factory footprint itself, stayed without utilization for 15 years. Construction of an automobile plant was considered by the government after the end of the Soviet Union when Azerbaijan had obtained its independence. AzSamand was an automobile factory belonging to Evsen Group Company located in Şamaxı, Azerbaijan. History The project opened in October 2005, with the support of the Government of Azerbaijan. The automobiles branded "Aziz" have the "AzSamand" label and "Aziz" means "Azərbaycan inamla zirvələrə", that is "Azerbaijan confidently at the top".
