''The Flintstones'' is an American animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions that aired on ABC from September 30, 1960 to April 1, 1966. As of September 2006, all six seasons have been released on DVD in North America. In all, 166 episodes were produced for the original series. ''The Flintstones'' is an American animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera, Hanna-Barbera Productions, which takes place in a romanticized Stone Age setting and follows the titular family, the Flintstones, and their next-door neighbors, the Rubbles. It was originally broadcast on American Broadcasting Company, ABC from September 30, 1960, to April 1, 1966, and was the first animated series with a prime time#Prime time in the context of U.S. radio/TV-revenues, prime-time slot on television. "Stardust" is a List of 1920s jazz standards, 1927 song Musical composition, composed by Hoagy Carmichael, with lyrics later added by Mitchell Parish. Hoagland Howard "Hoagy" Carmichael (November 22, 1899 – December 27, 1981) was an American musician, composer, songwriter, actor, author and lawyer.
