Cinema Of Andhra Pradesh
Telugu cinema, also known as Tollywood, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Telugu language, widely spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Telugu cinema is based in Film Nagar, Hyderabad, India. The nickname ''Tollywood'' is a portmanteau of the words Telugu and Hollywood. By 2021, it has emerged as the largest film industry in India in terms of box-office. Since 1909, filmmaker Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu was involved in producing short films and travelling to different regions in Asia to promote film work. Pourudu
''Pourudu'' () is a 2008 Telugu language action drama film written and directed by Raj Aditya. The film stars Sumanth and Kajal Aggarwal, while Suman, Nassar, Brahmanandam, Ali, Subbaraju, and Kota Srinivasa Rao play supporting roles. The film was produced by Sumanth's sister, Supriya, under the S.S Creations / Annapurna Studios banner. The music score was by Mani Sharma with cinematography by Sudhakar Yekkanti. The film released on 13 January 2008. It was a moderate success at the box office, having a run of 100 days in a couple of centers. Vinay Rai (born 18 September 1979) is an Indian actor who primarily appears in Tamil films. He is best known for his performance in the films ''Unnale Unnale'' (2007), ''Jayamkondaan'' (2008), ''Endrendrum Punnagai'' (2013) and ''Aranmanai'' (2014). He turned villain in ''Thupparivaalan'' (2017) and has played negative roles in several films including ''Doctor'' (2021) and ''Etharkkum Thunindhavan'' (2022). Early life Vinay was originally a commercial model in Mumbai. He played rugby for BRFC and was part of the Indian squad that toured Bahrain in 2001. ''Vaana'' () is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film directed and produced by M. S. Raju. The film stars Vinay and Meera Chopra while Suman, Jayasudha, Naresh, Seetha, and Diganth play supporting roles. Music is composed by debutant Kamalakar. Sai Kumar (Kannada Actor)
Pudipeddi Sai Kumar (born 27 July 1960) is an Indian actor, dubbing artist and television presenter who works predominantly in Telugu, Kannada, in addition to a few Tamil films. He has received three state Filmfare Awards South, two Nandi Awards and two SIMA Awards for his work in Telugu and Kannada. His performance in ''Prasthanam'' (2010) featured in the list of the "100 Greatest Performances of the Decade" by ''Film Companion.'' Early and personal life Sai Kumar was born to P. J. Sarma and Krishna Jyothi, as one of five children.
