Transfer Window
A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. "Transfer window" is the unofficial term commonly used by the media for the concept of "registration period" as described in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. According to the rules, each national football association decides on the time (such as the dates) of the 'window' but it may not exceed 12 weeks. The second registration period occurs during the season and may not exceed four weeks. The transfer window of a given football association governs only international transfers into that football association. International transfers out of an association are always possible to those associations that have an open window. Fernando José Ribeiro Alexandre (born 2 August 1985) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played mainly as a defensive midfielder. Club career Born in Lourinhã, Lisbon District, Alexandre started his professional career with S.L. Benfica, but could never make any official appearances for the first team. From 2004 to 2006 he played with the club's reserves (soon to be extinct) and in the second division, with Lisbon neighbours C.D. Olivais e Moscavide. After one season in the third tier with C.D. Atlético Clube de Portugal is a Portuguese club, located in the city of Lisbon, more precisely in the parish of Alcântara. Caleb Patterson-Sewell (born May 20, 1987) is an American soccer coach and former professional player, who currently serves as assistant coach and assistant sporting director with Memphis 901 FC in the USL Championship. Early life and career Patterson-Sewell moved with his parents to Australia when he was six years old and grew up in Gatton, Queensland, and began his youth career in Australia with the Toowoomba Raiders junior soccer system. Edson André Sitoe (born 8 September 1988), known as Mexer, is a Mozambican professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for TFF First League club Bandırmaspor and the Mozambique national team.
