Vladimir Vyacheslavovich Isakov (russian: Владимир Вячеславович Исаков); born 28 February 1970 in Pushkino, Moscow Oblast) is a Russian sport shooter. He has been a member of the Russian national shooting team since 1991. He lives in Pushkino and is married to Irina. They have a son, Maxim, and a daughter, Maria. Damir Mikec ( sr-Cyrl, Дамир Микец; born 31 March 1984) is a Serbian Shooting sports, sport shooter. Biography Mikec represented Serbia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, People's Republic of China. He earned his qualification by finishing 6th at the 2007 World Cup #1 Rifle, Pistol in Fort Benning, United States of America. In Beijing, Mikec reached the final in Shooting at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Men's 50 metre pistol, 50 metre pistol and finished 7th. Javad Foroughi
Javad Foroughi ( fa, جواد فروغی; born 11 September 1979) is an Iranian sport shooter, born in Dehloran. He represented Iran at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, competing in Men's 10 metre air pistol and in Mixed 10 metre air pistol team. Foroughi competed in the men's 10 metre air pistol competition in the 2020 Olympics on 24 July. He qualified to the final, finishing 5th with a score of 580. In the final he started out in the lead in the 1st competition stage, scoring 101.0, a slight distance to 2nd place Pang Wei with 99.7. In the 2nd competition stage, Foroughi remained in the lead throughout the entire competition, finishing 1st and winning gold ahead of silver medalist Serbian Damir Mikec. Shooting competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo were originally scheduled from 25 July to 3 August 2020, due to the postponement of the Summer Olympics to 2021, the rescheduled dates were on 24 July to 2 August 2021 at the Asaka Shooting Range. Unlike in 2016, the number of shooters competing across fifteen events at these Games had been reduced from 390 to 360, with an equal distribution between men and women. Furthermore, several significant changes were instituted in the Olympic shooting program, including the substitution of three male-only events (rifle prone, free pistol, and double trap), with the mixed team competitions. Felipe Almeida Wu (born 11 June 1992 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian sport shooter. He won a silver medal in the Men's 10m air pistol event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Shooting competitions at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro took place from 6 to 14 August at the National Shooting Center in Deodoro. A maximum of 390 athletes were able to compete in the fifteen events across these Games. The event format was similar to 2012, although there were significant changes to the rules and guidelines of the competition. Format changes On 23 November 2012, the International Shooting Sport Federation instituted new rules to the competition format designed to enhance the sport's appeal to youth, to make it more spectator and media friendly, and to keep the competitions fair and transparent. Andrija Zlatić ( sr-cyr, Андрија Златић, born January 25, 1978) is a Serbian sport shooter. He is currently a member of Aleksa Dejović Užice. In 1998 Andrija became junior world champion in shooting in Barcelona, Spain. At the 2002 ISSF World Shooting Championships he won a silver medal. At the 2004 Summer Olympics he represented Serbia and Montenegro. He was a first athlete from his country who qualified for 2004 Summer Olympics. Shooting At The 2012 Summer Olympics
Shooting competitions at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London took place from 28 July to 6 August at the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich. Fifteen events were included with 390 athletes taking part. The events were the same as in 2008. The competitions were originally planned for the National Shooting Centre in Bisley, Surrey, and the temporary solution at the Royal Artillery Barracks (which is in the River Zone) was adopted later after the International Olympic Committee expressed concerns about the distance between London and Bisley. Since the pistols used in the 25m and 50m shooting events were deemed by HM Government as prohibited in England, Scotland and Wales after the Dunblane Massacre, special dispensation had to be granted by the UK Government and security criteria met by LOCOG to allow certain events to go ahead. Jason Turner (sport Shooter)
Jason Turner (born January 31, 1975 in Rochester, New York) is an American sport shooter and Olympic athlete who finished fourth at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in the 10 metre air pistol final. Bronze medalist Kim Jong Su later tested positive for propranolol, disqualifying him and upgrading Turner's position to third. Turner had finished on exactly the same score as his countryman Brian Beaman, but defeated him in a seemingly uninteresting shoot-off for fourth place that would later secure him the bronze medal.
