Loumidis
Loumidis (Greek: Λουμίδης) is a Greek coffee brand and one of the first coffeehouse companies in Greece. History The company has origins in 1920s, in Piraeus, as a coffee retail company by three brothers, Antonis, Nikos and Jason Loumidis. In 1928 the company officially was founded and in 1932 opened a coffee house at the center of Athens and one in Thessaloniki. In 1938 opened also the infamous coffee house on Stadiou Street which soon became a meeting place of intellectuals and artists. The company's motto is translated into English as, “Each one has an expertise and…for Loumidis that is Coffees." In 1987 Loumidis SA, a company which had the rights of selling the Loumidis Greek coffee brand (with the notable parrot as trademark) was acquired by Nestlé. Princes Gate Spring Water is a brand of Welsh mineral water distributed across the United Kingdom. It is owned by Nestlé. The water is sourced from a spring near the hamlet of Princes Gate near Narberth in Pembrokeshire, southwest Wales. History Princes Gate was launched in August 1991, when David and Glyn Jones began bottling spring water in a micro plant on their farm in Princes Gate, Pembrokeshire, in a bid to diversify their business in the face of government quotas on milk production. The initial machinery was capable of filling just 36 bottles a day; this was expanded until most of the outbuildings on the farm were being used. A bespoke bottling plant opened in 2004, and a high-speed bottling line in 2007, capable of filling 22,000 bottles an hour. Perrier
Perrier ( , also , ) is a French brand of bottled water marketed as coming from its source in Vergèze, located in the Gard '' département''. Perrier was part of the Perrier Vittel Group SA, which became Nestlé Waters France after the acquisition of the company by Nestlé in 1992. Overview The spring from which Perrier water is sourced is naturally carbonated, but the water and natural carbon dioxide gas are obtained independently. The water is then purified, and during bottling, the carbon dioxide gas is re-added so that the level of carbonation in bottled Perrier matches that of the Vergèze spring. In 1990, Perrier removed the "naturally sparkling" claim from its bottles under pressure from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Contrex is a brand of mineral water owned since 1992 by Nestlé Waters, a branch of the Swiss group Nestlé, and is part of the ''Vittel'' mineral water company that includes Vittel and Hépar. The water, whose source is located in Contrexéville in the French ''département'' of Vosges (departement), Vosges, was discovered by Charles Bagard, the first doctor of Louis XV of France, Louis XV. Information The water is bottled in a 250,000 m² factory complex that employs around 900 people. 635 million bottles of all kinds are produced a year, of which 11% are exported. Acqua Panna takes its name from Villa Panna in the hills of Tuscany, where the natural spring was first discovered.
