The current Miss Intercontinental is Chatnalin Chotjirawarachat of Thailand, who was crowned on December 15, 2023, at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. Formation History Miss Intercontinental was founded in 1971 based in Panama. In 1973 the pageant was officially called Miss Teenage Intercontinental. The parade was organized by Rene Lacle. The contest has its headquarters shared in Germany and Panama. Then in 1979 it was changed to Miss Teen Intercontinental until finally in 1982 the name was changed back to Miss Intercontinental until now.
