Ashvin Kumar Nair, commonly known as Ash, is a Malaysian alternative musician and former contestant of season 2 of '' Malaysian Idol'', where he first became widely known to the public. Since his debut he is also widely known as actor and director with over 50 credits to his name. He starred for 2 seasons in the British-America TV series Indian Summers from the producers of Downton Abbey. He has also gone on to write and direct his own short-films and the 4 part web-series Legend. David Arumugam
Dato’ Thiagarajan K.R. Arumugam (born 3 May 1950), known by his stage name David Arumugam, is a Malaysian musician and singer who is one of the founding members of the band called Alleycats. He is the elder brother of Loganathan Arumugam. On 12 February 2009, David Arumugam was conferred the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) award which carries the title of " Dato' " in conjunction with the Sultan of Pahang's 78th birthday on 24 October 2008. Early life David and his brother Loga were exposed to music making through their mother, radio announcer and Carnatic classical singer, who would often brought them along to her performance sessions; particularly in town halls. Daniel Lee Chieh Hun (Simplified Chinese: 李桀汉, Traditional Chinese: 李桀漢, ; Pinyin: Lǐ Jiéhàn) (born 1 July 1982; 李吉汉/李吉漢; ; Pinyin: Lǐ Jíhàn) is a Malaysian singer most notable for winning the second season of ''Malaysian Idol''. Malaysian Idol 2 Better known as Daniel throughout the show, he beat over 9,000 candidates to compete in ''Malaysian Idol'' and was left with Norhanita Hamzah in the final two. In the final episode and the subsequent results show held at Genting Highlands' Arena of Stars on 23 and 24 September 2005 respectively, he obtained roughly 1.2 million out of 1.67 million votes (68%) cast through SMS and phone calls. M-Girls ( zh, s=四个女生) is a Malaysian girl group consisting of Queenzy Cheng, Angeline Khoo, Cass Chin and Crystal Ong. The group was formed in 2001. Although M-Girls studio albums have been officially released in many different parts of the world, the group has been a longstanding victim to piracy and unlicensed, illegal distribution. As a result, the group's music company, Starmedia, decided to stop producing additional M-Girls albums in 2014. This announcement came out during the release of the Chinese New Year album ''True Happiness'' (真歡喜) in February 2014, weeks after the release of their EP, ''My Way''. In 2015, M-Girls released one last CNY album, ''New Spring Holiday'' (新春佳期), through Starmedia. Afterwards, the group later on decided to part ways with the music company and established their own company, MG Entertainment. Datuk Aznil bin Nawawi (born 6 November 1962), better known as Aznil Nawawi (sometimes he credited as Aznil Haji Nawawi, Aznil or Pak Nil), is a Malaysian TV host. Azmyl Yunor (born Azmyl Yusof; 17 January 1977) is a Malaysian independent English and Malay language singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, academic and writer. He is also a journalist and filmmaker by training. His works have ranged from folk-country singer-songwriter styles to experimental guitar improvisations to punk and indie-noise rock, solo and with various bands he has founded and recorded with.
