Latin Pop
Latin pop (in Spanish and in Portuguese: Pop latino) is a pop music subgenre that is a fusion of US–style music production with Latin music genres from anywhere in Latin America and Spain. Originating in Spanish-speaking musicians, Latin pop may also be made by musicians in Portuguese (mainly in Brazilian Portuguese) and the various Romance Creole languages. Latin pop usually combines upbeat Latin music with American pop music. Latin pop is commonly associated with Spanish-language pop, rock, and dance music. Axel Fernando Witteveen Pardo (born 1 January 1977), commonly known as Axel, is an Argentine singer and songwriter. Career Axel was born on 1 January 1977 in Rafael Calzada, Buenos Aires province. He began piano lessons with his two brothers, encouraged by his parents, both of whom were great lovers of music. At the age of 8, Axel entered the Conservatory Julian Aguirre of Argentina and remained there until high school when he decided to focus on his studies and temporarily left musical. Once he finished secondary school, at age 17, he resumed his piano studies, determined to make music his livelihood. Despite the initial opposition of his father, but supported by his mother, Axel started to explore the artistic world of Buenos Aires. Carla Borghetti (18 September 1971 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine singer who specializes in Tango music. Biography Borghetti was born into a musically active family. She studied voice performance at the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Manuel De Falla" in Buenos Aires. Singing career Borghetti's first experience with public performance was in 1998 with the quartet ''Vuelta de Rocha'', a tango performance group which competed in several Argentine contests. Cacho Castaña
Humberto Vicente Castagna (June 11, 1942 – October 15, 2019), better known as Cacho Castaña, was an Argentine singer, songwriter, pianist and actor. Born in Buenos Aires, he initially worked as a shoe cobbler before becoming famous as a bolero singer in the 1970s. Castana composed and sung various compositions and songs, several of which became gold and platinum records. He also starred in multiple films. Castaña's career declined during the 1990s but rebounded after 2003 and he became active in Argentina's stage and festival circuit. Benjamín Rojas Pessi (born April 16, 1985) is an Argentine actor and singer. He was part of the pop-rock band ''Erreway'' together with Camila Bordonaba, Felipe Colombo and Luisana Lopilato. Eliane René Schianni Bidart ( stage name, Beba Bidart; April 3, 1924 – August 27, 1994), was an Argentine tango singer, actress and dancer. Eliane René Schianni Bidart was born April 3, 1924, in Buenos Aires. She began her studies at the age of ten at Teatro Infantil Labardén. She made thirty tango recordings accompanied by the Francisco Canaro's orchestra and others. Her very first film was ''Los Pulpos'' "Octopussy" (1948) opening out her path for acting on as many as thirty movies in total.
