The postpaid mobile phone is a mobile phone for which service is provided by a prior arrangement with a mobile network operator. The user in this situation is billed after the fact according to their use of mobile services at the end of each month. iD Mobile is a British mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) operating as iD Mobile Limited, using the Three network. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Currys plc, and its services were launched on 12 May 2015. Until April 2018, service was also provided in the Republic of Ireland, again using the Three network.
