IDW Publishing is an American publisher of comic books, graphic novels, art books, and comic strip collections. ''American McGee's Grimm'' is a 23-part episodic video game series based upon ''Grimm's Fairy Tales'', designed by American McGee, developed by Spicy Horse and distributed online initially by GameTap starting July 31, 2008. ''Grimm'' was originally thought to resemble the warped fairy tale style of ''American McGee's Alice'', but the art style appears to be much more child-friendly and simplistic. A graphic novel is a long-form, fictional work of sequential art. The term ''graphic novel'' is often applied broadly, including fiction, non-fiction, and anthologized work, though this practice is highly contested by comic scholars and industry professionals. It may include notes, introduction, a biographical sketch, and may pay attention to textual variants. ''Adventures in Oz'' is a collection of five graphic novels by Eric Shanower set in the Land of Oz. They were originally published separately from 1986 to 1992. Spreading The Disease
''Spreading the Disease'' is the second studio album by the American heavy metal band Anthrax, released on October 30, 1985, by Megaforce Records and Island Records. It was the band's first album to feature vocalist Joey Belladonna and bassist Frank Bello. A special two-disc edition of the album was released in 2015, celebrating its 30th anniversary. Background and writing After Anthrax finished touring in support of ''Fistful of Metal'', vocalist Neil Turbin was expelled from the band. Matt Fallon replaced him, but was quickly fired because he lacked confidence in the studio. Producer Carl Canedy suggested the group to audition Joey Belladonna, who was not familiar with thrash metal. Though the band members were not pleased with Belladonna's musical background, they hired him and booked a few shows with their new frontman.
