The following is a list of characters who first appeared in the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'' in 1999, by order of first appearance. Throughout the year ''Hollyoaks'' saw several new arrivals including the Morgan family. Adam Morgan Adam Morgan, played by David Brown, made his first on screen appearance in February 1999. Joanna Taylor (born 24 July 1978) is an English actress and former model. Early life and career Born in Tooting, South London, Taylor was a student at the Guildford School of Acting. Alexandra Louise Bastian (born 27 February 1982) is an English actress, known for her roles as Becca Dean in the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', Sally Armstrong in the ITV drama series ''The Bill'' and Becky Clarke in the BBC soap opera ''Doctors''. Becca Dean (also Hayton) is a fictional character from the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Ali Bastian. She first appeared on-screen on 19 September 2001 and departed on 16 February 2007. Storylines Becca arrived as an undergraduate in 2001. She was a naïve fresher who forged a relationship with fellow student Jamie Nash (Stefan Booth). The pair started dating, but he was a love rat who two-timed her with her best friend. Scott Anderson is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Daniel Hyde. Scott was introduced in the late-night DVD feature film Hollyoaks: Indecent Behaviour by current producer Jo Hallows. The film would see Scott's arrival as the new local bad boy who was involved in a rape storyline involving, Beth Morgan. Mandy Richardson (also Hutchinson and Morgan) is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Sarah Jayne Dunn.
