This is a list of miniatures and supplements for HeroClix, a collectible miniatures game using the Clix system and revolving around the world of superhero comic books and related media. Most prominently, the game features miniatures representing characters from Marvel Comics and DC Comics, though numerous other franchises are represented as well such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Street Fighter, Gears of War, and Halo. HeroClix
HeroClix is a collectible miniatures game that uses the Clix system that centers on the world of superhero comic books, especially DC and Marvel universes. Players construct teams of comic book heroes, villains, or characters from various video games series such as '' Street Fighter'', '' Gears of War'', and '' Halo'' and engage in a turn-by-turn battle on grid maps based on various storyline locations. The game was originally designed and produced by WizKids, but was discontinued in November 2008 when WizKids owner Topps shut down their HeroClix line. In September 2009, collectible toy producer National Entertainment Collectibles Association (NECA) purchased some of the WizKids' intellectual property from Topps, including the HeroClix rights, and then soon after began to produce and sell new HeroClix series. Brightest Day
''Brightest Day'' is a 2010–2011 Crossover (comics), crossover storyline published by DC Comics, consisting of a year-long comic book Limited series (comics), maxiseries that began in April 2010, and a number of tie-in books. The story is a direct follow-up to the ''Blackest Night'' storyline that depicts the aftermath of the events of that storyline on the DC Universe. Plot At the end of the 2009–2010 ''Blackest Night'' storyline, 12 deceased heroes and villains are resurrected for an unknown purpose. The events of ''Brightest Day'' follow their exploits as they seek to learn the secret behind their resurrection. The story begins the day after ''Blackest Night'' showing Deadman (character), Boston Brand smashing his tombstone. Nearby, a baby bird falls out of its nest and dies, but Boston resurrects it. Galactus
Galactus () is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Formerly a mortal man, he is a cosmic entity who consumes planets to sustain his life force, and serves a functional role in the upkeep of the primary Marvel continuity. He was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and first appeared in ''Fantastic Four'' #48 (March 1966). Lee and Kirby wanted to introduce a character that broke from the archetype of the standard villain. In the character's first appearance, Galactus was depicted as a god-like figure that fed by draining living planets of their energy, and operated without regard to the morality or judgments of mortal beings. Galactus's initial origin was that of a Taa-an space explorer named Galan who gained cosmic abilities by passing near a star,''Thor'' #168–169.
