Presidents' Trophy
The Presidents' Trophy (french: Trophée des présidents) is an award presented by the National Hockey League (NHL) to the team that finishes with the most points (i.e. best record) during the NHL regular season. If two teams are tied for the most points, then the Trophy goes to the team with the most regulation wins (RW). The Presidents' Trophy has been awarded 35 times to 18 different teams since its inception during the 1985–86 NHL season. As the team with the best regular season record, the Presidents' Trophy winner is normally guaranteed home-ice advantage throughout the entire Stanley Cup playoffs. William Francis Zito, Jr. (born September 16, 1964) is an American ice hockey executive, former attorney and professional sports agent currently serving as general manager of the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Early life and education Zito was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to former Pitt University and Steelers football player, William Zito Sr. and Priscilla Zito (nee McCormack). Zito grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended University School of Milwaukee, and then one season at Phillips Andover Academy. Tom Rowe (ice Hockey)
Thomas John Rowe (born May 23, 1956) is an American ice hockey executive, former player and coach. Career Selected by the Washington Capitals in the 1976 NHL Entry Draft, Rowe also played for the Hartford Whalers and Detroit Red Wings. He was also a member of the United States national team at the 1977 Ice Hockey World Championships. Rowe was the first American-born player to score 30 or more goals in an NHL season. He accomplished this feat in the 1978–79 season with the Washington Capitals. That season he scored 31 goals in 69 games. Rowe was an assistant coach for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League from 2008 until 2011. Rowe previously coached the Albany River Rats and Lowell Lock Monsters. Dale Tallon
Michael "Dale" Tallon (born October 19, 1950) is a Canadian ice hockey executive and former player. He played in the NHL for ten years as a defenceman for the Vancouver Canucks, Chicago Blackhawks and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Following his retirement as a player, Tallon began a broadcasting career with the Blackhawks lasting 16 years. In 1998, he joined the front office as director of player personnel before working his way up to general manager. Serving in the latter capacity from 2005 to 2009, he helped rebuild the team into a Stanley Cup winner in 2010, at which point he had been demoted to assistant general manager. In May 2010, he was named general manager for the Panthers for the 2010–11 NHL season, serving in that position until August 2020. Randy Sexton (born July 24, 1959) is a Canadian ice hockey executive, businessman and former athlete. He is the Senior Advisor to the General Manager for the Minnesota Wild. He was the assistant general manager for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL) and general manager of the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League from 2017 to 2020. Jacques Martin (born October 1, 1952) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey coach and current senior advisor of the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League. In the National Hockey League (NHL), he has been the head coach of the St. Louis Blues, Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens and the Florida Panthers. Martin was also the general manager with the Panthers, and has served as an assistant coach with the Canadian men's national ice hockey team.
