The following is a list of fictional characters that appeared in televised spin-offs of the BBC soap opera '' EastEnders'', but have not appeared in ''EastEnders'' itself. ''EastEnders'' is a British soap opera that has aired on BBC One since 19 February 1985. Several spin-off shows have been made, some of which use the narrative of flashbacks to look at the history of the characters such as "CivvyStreet". Others have been a lead-up for a character's eventual return to the show such as "Return of Nick Cotton", and some have followed characters who had departed from the show in another setting such as the 2016 spin-off series '' Kat & Alfie: Redwater''. With the exception of "CivvyStreet" which was set within Albert Square during the Second World War, these spin-offs take place in a different setting. Conor Flaherty
Conor Flaherty is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by actor Seán Gleeson from 22 September 1997 to 22 February 1999. The character first appeared in a special week of episodes set in Ireland, the first broadcast in 1997. Storylines Flaherty first appeared in 1997 when his aunt Pauline Fowler (Wendy Richard) tracks him and his mother Maggie Flaherty (Olivia Shanley) down in Ireland after she discovers Maggie is the sister she had never known about. Lou Beale is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Anna Wing. Her first appearance is in the first episode, which was broadcast on 19 February 1985, and her last is in episode 362, first shown on 26 July 1988, after which the character was killed off. The character is played by Karen Meagher in the 1988 ''EastEnders'' special, ''CivvyStreet'', set during the Second World War. She appears in 232 episodes. Aaron Mason is a British racing driver currently competing in the Porsche Supercup with Martinet by Alméras. He is a two-time champion of the Volkswagen Racing Cup GB. He made his British Touring Car Championship debut in 2013, replacing James Kaye at AmDTuning.com for the Oulton Park round. Career In 2009, Mason, born in Doncaster, Yorkshire, entered the Volkswagen Racing Cup Great Britain, driving a Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk V for AWM Motorsport; he finished on the podium once out of his 13 races, and was classified third in the championship. Hugh Miller (writer)
Hugh Miller (10 October 1802 – 23/24 December 1856) was a self-taught Scottish geologist and writer, folklorist and an evangelical Christian. Life and work Miller was born in Cromarty, the first of three children of Harriet Wright (''bap''. 1780, ''d''. 1863) and Hugh Miller (''bap''. 1754, ''d''. 1807), a shipmaster in the coasting trade. Both parents were from trading and artisan families in Cromarty. His father died in a shipwreck in 1807, and he was brought up by his mother and uncles. He was educated in a parish school where he reportedly showed a love of reading. It was at this school that Miller was involved in an altercation with a classmate in which he stabbed his peer's thigh. Michelle Fowler (also Holloway) is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Susan Tully from the show's first episode on 19 February 1985 up until the character's departure on 26 October 1995. She returned on 24 December 2016, with Jenna Russell taking over the role, before leaving the serial once again on 17 April 2018.
