Conor Flaherty
Conor Flaherty is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by actor Seán Gleeson from 22 September 1997 to 22 February 1999. The character first appeared in a special week of episodes set in Ireland, the first broadcast in 1997. Storylines Flaherty first appeared in 1997 when his aunt Pauline Fowler (Wendy Richard) tracks him and his mother Maggie Flaherty (Olivia Shanley) down in Ireland after she discovers Maggie is the sister she had never known about. Seán Gleeson
Seán Gleeson (born 18 February) is an English actor, director and producer, known for his roles as Conor Flaherty in the BBC One, BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' and Ronnie Woodson in the BBC soap opera ''Doctors (2000 TV series), Doctors''. As well as acting, Gleeson also works as a director and producer, with credits on ''Doctors'', ''Casualty (TV series), Casualty'' and ''Holby City''. David Wicks is a fictional character from the BBC TV soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Michael French. David originally appeared from 23 December 1993 to 21 November 1996. Walford
Walford is a fictional borough of east London in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders''. It is the primary setting for the soap. ''EastEnders'' is filmed at Borehamwood in Hertfordshire, towards the north-west of London. Much of the location work is filmed in nearby Watford, which was chosen for many of the exterior scenes due to its close proximity and the town's name being so similar to Walford. Thus, any stray road signs or advertising boards which are accidentally filmed in the back of shots will appear to read Walford. Melanie Clark Pullen (2 July 1975 – 29 March 2022) was an Irish actress, film producer and writer. Career Born and raised in Ireland, Clark Pullen attended Newpark Comprehensive School and then studied drama at Trinity College, Dublin. Wendy Richard
Wendy Richard (born Wendy Emerton; 20 July 1943 – 26 February 2009) was an English actress, known for her television roles as Miss Shirley Brahms on the BBC sitcom ''Are You Being Served?'' from 1972 to 1985, and Pauline Fowler on the soap opera ''EastEnders'' from 1985 to 2006. Despite being known for her Cockney accent, Richard was born in Middlesbrough. After a childhood in which her father died by suicide, Richard worked in department stores to pay her drama school fees before appearing regularly on-screen from the early 1960s.
