''DuckTales'' is an American animated television series developed by Matt Youngberg and Francisco Angones for Disney Television Animation. It premiered as a sneak preview on Disney XD on August 12, 2017 and regularly on September 23, and later moved to Disney Channel on May 4, 2018. A reboot of the 1987 television series of the same name, the show centers around the continuing adventures of trillionaire and adventurer Scrooge McDuck (David Tennant), and his three troublesome, yet caring triplet nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie (Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, and Bobby Moynihan). They are accompanied by their short-tempered uncle and Scrooge's nephew Donald Duck (Tony Anselmo), their excitable friend Webby Vanderquack (Kate Micucci), her protective grandmother Mrs. Beakley (Toks Olagundoye), and accident-prone pilot Launchpad McQuack (Beck Bennett). The original cartoon series premiered on Broadcast syndication, syndication and on Disney Channel on September 18, 1987 and ran for a total of 100 episodes over four seasons, with its final episode airing on November 28, 1990. Based upon ''Uncle Scrooge'' and other Duck universe comic books created by Carl Barks, the show follows Scrooge McDuck, his three grandnephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and close friends of the group, on various adventures, most of which either involve seeking out treasure or thwarting the efforts of villains seeking to steal Scrooge's fortune or his Number One Dime. Beck Bennett
Christopher Beck Bennett (born October 1, 1984) is an American actor, comedian, and writer, who was a cast member on ''Saturday Night Live'' for eight seasons (2013–2021). Before then, he performed in AT&T "It's Not Complicated" commercials in which he interviewed children, and produced sketch videos with the comedy group Good Neighbor and for his YouTube show ''Theatre of Life''. Early life Bennett was born in Wilmette, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago), the son of Sarah and Andy Bennett. He performed in multiple shows at Children's Theatre of Winnetka. Beagle Boys
The Beagle Boys are a group of cartoon characters created in 1951 by Carl Barks for the Donald Duck universe. They are a family clan of Organized crime, organized criminals who constantly try to rob Scrooge McDuck. Their introduction and first appearance was in "Terror of the Beagle Boys" (''Walt Disney's Comics and Stories'' No. 134, November 1951), although in this story they only appear in the last frame and have no lines. They appear again in the next issue in a similar fashion, in ''The Big Bin on Killmotor Hill'' (''Walt Disney's Comics and Stories'' No. 135, December 1951).
