Stephen Marandi is an Indian politician. He is a leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and a member of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. He was elected as pro tem speaker of the fourth Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. He is a tribal leader from Santhal Pargana. Marandi was member of Shibu Soren's Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. He quit Jharkhand Mukti Morcha due to denial of ticket in 2005 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election and contested as Independent candidate from Dumka constituency against Shibu Soren's son Hemant Soren and defeated him in the election. Hemant Soren (born 10 August 1975) is an Indian politician from Jharkhand, who is currently the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Previously, he had also served as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand from July 2013 to December 2014. He is also the president of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, a political party in Jharkhand. He represents Barhait constituency in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. Arjun Munda (born 3 May 1968) is an Indian politician. He is the current Minister of Tribal Affairs in the Second Modi ministry. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was also Chief Minister of Indian state of Jharkhand. Sudesh Mahto
Sudesh Mahto is an Indian politician who was the former Deputy Chief Minister of Jharkhand. He is the member of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from Silli. He won the first assembly election in 2000 when he was aged 25. On the formation of Jharkhand he was inducted as Road Constructions Minister. He took over as Deputy Chief Minister of Jharkhand state on 29 December 2009. In 2019, he became M.L.A. of Silli.
