''Dawson's Creek'' is an American television series that premiered on January 20, 1998 on television network The WB. It was created by Kevin Williamson, who was the executive producer until the end of the show's second season. Paul Stupin shared the executive producer role until Williamson left, and remained until the series finale along with Tom Kapinos and Greg Prange. It is produced by Outerbanks Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television. The series stars James Van Der Beek as Dawson Leery, an aspiring filmmaker. ''Dawson's Creek'' is an American teen drama television series about the lives of a close-knit group of friends in the fictional town of Capeside, Massachusetts, beginning in high school and continuing into college that ran from 1998 to 2003. Pacey Witter
Pacey Witter (born 1983) is a fictional character in the WB television drama ''Dawson's Creek.'' He is a principal character in all six seasons of the series and is portrayed by actor Joshua Jackson. Background Pacey Witter is a sarcastic, underachieving 15-year-old boy at the start of the series.
