Bulgarian A Professional Football Group
The First Professional Football League ( bg, Първа професионална футболна лига, Parva Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as the Bulgarian First League or Parva Liga, currently known as the efbet League for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league, located at the top of the Bulgarian football league system. Contested by 16 teams, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Second Professional Football League. The Bulgarian football championship was inaugurated in 1924 as the '' Bulgarian State Football Championship'' and has been played in a league format since 1948, when the A Group was established. The champions of the First League have the right to participate in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Champions League based on the league's European coefficient. Goran Galešić (born 11 March 1989) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for First League of FBiH club Goražde. Club career Galešić started his career at Borac Banja Luka. In 2007, he joined Slovenian club Gorica, where he stayed until the summer of 2010, when his contract with the club expired. In June 2010 it was reported by the media that Galešić has signed a three-year contract with Serbian team Partizan. AS Verbroedering Geel is a Belgian association football club based in Geel, province of Antwerp. Currently, they play in the Belgian Provincial Leagues. History Founded in 1926 as Meerhout Sport, the club received the matricule number 893. In 1966, Meerhout Sport merged with the other club from the city named Hand in Hand, with matricule 2169. The new club took the name F.C. Verbroedering Meerhout. At the end of the season, the club reached the Belgian Promotion. They were relegated to the provincial level in 1987. Aleksandar Kolev ( bg, Александър Колев; born 8 December 1992) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Krumovgrad and the Bulgaria national team. Career Early career Kolev began his career in the Levski Sofia youth academy. He moved to Belgium with his family when he was 15 years old and joined local side Dessel Sport. Daniel Zlatkov ( bg, Даниел Златков; born 6 March 1989) is a Bulgarian former footballer. He played for several years in the Bulgarian A PFG. Career Early career Zlatkov began playing football in his hometown Blagoevgrad at Pirin. In summer 2007, he started training with the first team and signed a professional contract, connecting him with the club until 2010. Zlatkov made his debut during the 2007–08 season on 10 May 2008 in a 2–2 away draw against Beroe. A few days later, he had a trial with Dynamo Kyiv, but did not do enough to secure a contract with the Ukrainian club. In June 2008, Zlatkov was sent to Pirin Gotse Delchev on loan for one year. Romain Inez (born April 30, 1988 in Caen) is a French former professional footballer who last played as a defender for Seraing. Career Inez began his career at Caen where he made 5 Ligue 2 and 20 Ligue 1 appearances. Whilst at Caen he spent time out on loan at Cherbourg during 2008–2009 season. Élio Bruno Teixeira Martins (born 26 March 1985) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for A.D. Machico as a winger or forward. Club career Martins was born in Machico, Madeira. Bansko ( bg, Банско) is a Bulgarian professional association football club from the town of Bansko, currently playing in the South-West Third League, the third division of Bulgarian football.
