Élio Martins
Élio Bruno Teixeira Martins (born 26 March 1985) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for A.D. Machico as a winger or forward. Club career Martins was born in Machico, Madeira. After years of playing in the lower leagues, especially with hometown club A.D. Machico, he reached the professionals in 2009–10, scoring six goals in 27 games as S.C. Beira-Mar promoted to the Primeira Liga as champions. After spending the first part of the 2010–11 campaign on loan to Cypriot team Doxa Katokopias FC he returned for a further two seasons in the top division, being all but played as a substitute. On 27 June 2012, Martins signed with PFC Beroe Stara Zagora in Bulgaria, on a three-year contract. Machico
Machico () is a municipality, parish and city in the southeast part of the island of Madeira, in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The easternmost municipality on the island, it is also the third-most populous area with a population of 21,828 in 2011. The town, proper, had a population of 10,894 in 2001. 2013 Bulgarian Supercup
The 2013 Bulgarian Supercup was played on 10 July 2013 at Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia, between the winners of the previous season's A group and Bulgarian Cup competitions. The match was contested by the champions of the 2012–13 A PFG, Ludogorets Razgrad, and the 2013 Bulgarian Cup winners, Beroe Stara Zagora. This was the second Supercup final for both teams with Ludogorets winning their first one against Lokomotiv Plovdiv in 2012 and Beroe losing to Litex Lovech in 2010 after extra time. Beroe won their first ever Supercup after defeating Ludogorets on penalties. The Bulgarian Supercup ( bg, Суперкупа на България) is the trophy won in a football match held between the football club that has won the Bulgarian first football division in the season that ended in the year of the match and the holder of the Bulgarian Cup at that time. In case the champion of Bulgaria has also won the cup, the Bulgarian Cup finalist competes with the champion in the match for the trophy. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Balls successfully kicked into the goal during a shoot-out do not count as goals for the individual kickers or the team, and are tallied separately from the goals scored during normal play (including extra time, if any).
