The summer transfer window will open on 1 July 2015, although some transfers were announced prior to that date. Belgian Pro League
The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 18 clubs since the 2020–21 season and reduced to 16 teams from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League. Seasons run from early August to late April, with teams playing 34 matches each in the regular season, and then entering Play-offs I (also known as the ''Championship Playoff'', ''title playoffs'' or ''Champions' play-offs'') or Play-offs II (also known as the ''Europa League playoff'' or ''Europe play-offs'') according to their position in the regular season. Jonathan Wilmet
Jonathan Wilmet (born 7 January 1986) is a Belgian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Wilmet made his debut in professional football as a part of the Willem II squad in the 2005–06 season. In 2008, he moved to Sint-Truiden in the Belgian Second Division, enjoying promotion in his first season. He played one more season with Sint-Truiden at the highest level before moving to Mechelen where he played from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, he moved back to the Second Division as he signed with Westerlo, before joining Oostende the following year. In January 2015, Wilmet was loaned out to Waasland-Beveren for six months, with an option on a permanent contract for two seasons. Nicolas Rommens
Nicolas Rommens (born 17 December 1994) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Zulte Waregem in the Challenger Pro League. Club career On 31 August 2013, Rommens made his professional debut for Westerlo in the Belgian Second Division against Visé. One year later, he made his Belgian Pro League debut on 26 July 2014 against Lokeren in a 1–0 home win. He replaced Evander Sno after 43 minutes. At the age of 20, Rommens moved to second division team Dessel, who had already shown interest in signing him the winter before. Gilles Marchandise and Michiel Jaeken had also made the move from Westerlo to Dessel that summer. Rommens immediately made his mark with Dessel and returned to Westerlo a year later, where he would become a starter. Birger Verstraete (born 16 April 1994) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Belgian Pro League club OH Leuven. Verstraete has played once for the Belgium national team. Club career From Ostend, Verstraete came through the youth ranks at Club Brugge as a central midfielder, but only played six league games for the Blauw-Zwart before moving to Kortrijk in 2015.
