Amany Lubis
Amany Burhanuddin Umar Lubis (born December 22, 1963) is an Indonesian Muslim, female scholar of Mandailing- Egyptian descent. As an Islamic scholar, Amany was appointed as chairperson of the Indonesian Ulema Council for Women, Youth and Families for the 2015–2020 period. On January 7, 2019, she was appointed as rector of the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta by the minister of religion affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Lukman Hakim Saifuddin. Her new position made her as the first woman who served as chancellor of the largest Islamic university in Indonesia, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta. Ferdinand Sinaga
Ferdinand Alfred Sinaga (born 18 September 1988) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga 1 club Persis Solo. Ferdinand plays mainly as a striker, but he has also been deployed as a second striker, and wide forward. Club career Persib Bandung In March 2014, Sinaga was banned for two matches by the Football Association of Indonesia for excessively cursing at a referee in a match against Semen Padang on 16 February 2014. He missed Persib's next matches against PS Barito Putera and Arema Cronus. In addition to the ban, he was also fined 25 million rupiahs for his behavior. Hotman Paris Hutapea (born October 20, 1959) is an Indonesian lawyer and presenter. He is known for his flamboyant style, high-profile clients, luxurious lifestyle, and mistresses. Early life Hotman was born on 20 October 1959 in Laguboti village, North Sumatra. He was the sixth of 10 children in a Protestant Batak family. His first name was taken from the Batak word ''hotma'', which means 'steady'. His father ran an intercity bus company called Bintang Utara and often had to live away from home in the North Sumatran capital of Medan. His mother remained at Laguboti and encouraged the children to eat healthily, especially fish and papaya leaves, so they would develop high IQs. Eight of the 10 children became university graduates. Hotman had planned to study at Indonesia's prestigious Bandung Institute of Technology but failed to pass the entrance exam. Adnan Buyung Nasution
Adnan Buyung Nasution, also known as Adnan Bahrum Nasution (20 July 1934 – 23 September 2015) was an Indonesian lawyer, advocate, and activist. Career Nasution founded the Legal Aid Institute in Indonesia. He was well known as a human rights and pro-democracy activist during the reign of Indonesia's late President Suharto. One of the partners at his law firm was former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Indonesia Suryadi. From the years 2007 to 2009, Nasution was a member of the Presidential Advisory Council's Legal Department. Notable cases * In 1973, Vivian Rubiyanti Iskandar retained Nasution as counsel before the West Jakarta District Court. Nasution helped produce a ruling in favour of changing Vivian's legal gender to female, making her the first legally recognised transgender person in Indonesia.
