Ali Ismayilov (born May 8, 1974) is a boxer from Azerbaijan and the current WBO Latino Cruiserweight champion. Amateur Ismayilov won the bronze medal at light heavyweight at the 1999 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Houston, Texas. Javid Taghiyev ( az, Cavid Tağıyev; born 6 October 1981, in Lankaran) is a retired boxer from Azerbaijan. He participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics for his native European country. Teymur Mammadov (born 11 January 1993) is a heavyweight amateur boxer from Azerbaijan. He won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics and reached quarterfinals at the 2016 Games, where he served as the flag bearer for Azerbaijan during the Parade of Nations. Mahommedrasul Majidov ( az, Məhəmmədrəsul Məcidov) (born 27 September 1986) is an Azerbaijani professional boxer. As an amateur he won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics and gold at the 2011, 2013 and 2017 World Championships, all in the super heavyweight division. Ruslan Sabirovich Khairov (born January 7, 1976, Kaspiysk, Dagestan) is a Russian-born former boxer from Azerbaijan. He competed in the Welterweight (– 69 kg) division, and won bronze medals at the 2003 World Amateur Boxing Championships and 2004 European Amateur Boxing Championships.
