The AAA Mega Championship is a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship in the Mexican Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) promotion. Known officially in Spanish as the ''Mega Campeonato AAA'', it is sometimes referred to in the English-language press as the "AAA World Heavyweight Championship". The title is the top championship of the AAA promotion. The current champion is El Hijo del Vikingo. The title was established in 2007 via a single elimination tournament billed as the "''Torneo Campeón de Campeones''", or Champion of Champions Tournament, which effectively unified the International Wrestling Council (IWC) World Heavyweight Championship, the Grand Prix Championship Wrestling (GPCW) SUPER-X Monster Championship, the Mexican National Heavyweight Championship, and the Universal Wrestling Association (UWA) World Light Heavyweight Championship. El Texano Jr
Juan Aguilar Leos (born July 31, 1984) is a Mexican '' luchador'', or professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Texano Jr. Aguilar is the son of Juan Conrado Aguilar Jáuregui, who wrestled under the name El Texano; Aguilar's brother is a wrestler known as Súper Nova / Bengala and he has several uncles and cousins that are professional wrestlers including El Dandy, Mictlán, Pólvora and Inquisidor. For the early part of his career Aguilar worked for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion ''Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre'' (CMLL), during which he also made several tours of Japan for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) from 2005 until 2007. Chessman (wrestler)
Kevin Citlali Zamora (born June 2, 1975) is a Mexican Luchador or professional wrestler, better known under his ring name Chessman. He currently performs and works for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). Throughout his career, Chessman has been a part of several factions, such as The Black Family, Lucha Libre Latina (LLL), La Secta Cibernetica, La Secta del Mesías and Los Hell Brothers. Chessman has been associated with Cibernético and Charly Manson in one way or the other throughout most of his career, either teaming with them or wrestling against them. Lucha Underground was an American professional wrestling promotion founded in 2014 by United Artists Media Group. Partly owned by Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), ''Lucha Underground'' also refers to its weekly television program, which featured characters portrayed by wrestlers from the American and Mexican independent circuits. The series originally aired in English on El Rey Network and in Spanish on UniMás. The series was developed by Mark Burnett and Robert Rodriguez and produced by United Artists, MGM Television, and One Three Media. It premiered on October 29, 2014 and aired until November 7, 2018, consisting of four seasons for a total of 127 episodes.
