This is a list of episodes for the '' Zorro'' television series that ran from 1957 to 1961. Seasons 1 and 2 are composed of half-hour episodes. Four one-hour specials followed. Zorro (1957 TV Series)
''Zorro'' (also known as ''Disney's Zorro'') is an American action-adventure western series produced by Walt Disney Productions and starring Guy Williams. Based on the Zorro character created by Johnston McCulley in his 1919 novella, the series premiered on October 10, 1957, on ABC. The final network broadcast was July 2, 1959. Seventy-eight episodes were produced, and four hour-long specials were aired on the Walt Disney anthology series between October 30, 1960, and April 2, 1961. The series is set in Los Angeles of 1820, when it was still part of Spanish California and before Mexican independence. Zorro aids Hispanic settlers and indigenous peoples oppressed by the rulers. The site's slogan asked "Is YOUR Favorite Show On DVD?" From February 2007 until its closing, the site was affiliated with TV Guide. In March 2013, TVGuide.com was acquired by CBS Interactive, transferring control of TVShowsOnDVD.com to the new owners. On May 25, 2018, the website was shut down, and news updates were moved to social media. Everett H. Sloane (October 1, 1909 – August 6, 1965) was an American character actor who worked in radio, theatre, films, and television. Annette Joanne Funicello (October 22, 1942 – April 8, 2013) was an American actress and singer. Funicello began her professional career as a child performer at the age of twelve. She was one of the most popular Mouseketeers on the original ''Mickey Mouse Club''. In her teenage years, she recorded under the name Annette, and had a successful career as a pop singer. Her most notable singles are "O Dio Mio", "First Name Initial", "Tall Paul", and "Pineapple Princess". During the mid-1960s, she established herself as a film actress, popularizing the successful "Beach Party" genre alongside co-star Frankie Avalon. In 1992, Funicello announced that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1987. She died of complications from the disease on April 8, 2013.
