Women's Twenty20 International Cricket
Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) is the shortest form of women's international cricket. A women's Twenty20 International is a 20 overs-per-side cricket match between two of the International Cricket Council (ICC) members. The first Twenty20 International match was held in August 2004 between England and New Zealand, six months before the first Twenty20 International match was played between two men's teams. The ICC Women's World Twenty20, the highest-level event in the format, was first held in 2009. In April 2018, the ICC granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between two international sides after 1 July 2018 will be a full WT20I. A month after the conclusion of the 2018 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup, which took place in June 2018, the ICC retrospectively gave all the fixtures in the tournament full WT20I status. Manuka Oval
Manuka Oval is a sporting venue in Canberra, the capital of Australia. It is located in Griffith, in the area of that suburb known as Manuka. Manuka Oval has a seating capacity of 13,550 people and an overall capacity of 16,000 people, although this is lower for some sports depending on the configuration used. The area on which the ground is situated has been used for sport since the early 20th century, but was only enclosed in 1929. It has since undergone several redevelopments, most recently beginning in 2011. Currently, Manuka Oval is primarily used for cricket (during the summer months) and Australian rules football (during the winter months). The ground was previously also used for rugby league and rugby union matches, but there are now more suitable venues in Canberra for those sports. Trans Namib Ground (also known as the Centre for Cricket Development Ground) is a cricket ground in Windhoek, Namibia. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1998 when a Windhoek Select XI played Denmark. The ground held its first List A match in the 2001/02 6 Nations Challenge when Canada played the Netherlands. 2012 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup
The 2012 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup was the fifth edition of the ACC Women's Asia Cup and the first edition played in the Women's Twenty20 cricket format as all four previous editions were contested in the Women's One Day International cricket format. It was organized by the Asian Cricket Council and the tournament took place at Guangzhou, China. All the matches were played at the Guanggong International Cricket Stadium, the venue for the cricket tournament in 2010 Asian Games. Eight teams competed in the tournament which was played from 24 to 31 October 2012. Format The teams were divided into two groups where matches were played in a round-robin format. The City Forex Stadium () is an international cricket stadium in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. It is used mostly for cricket and also for Australian football, rugby tens, rugby union and touch rugby. GZ United are the tenants of the stadium.
