This page seeks to list and compare hardware devices that are shipped with Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system. HTC Corporation, Samsung, LG, Dell, Fujitsu, Nokia, Acer, Alcatel and ZTE have all released Windows Phone-based devices. Throughout its lifespan, Windows Phone 7 was shipped on 28 unique devices. This list contains devices that have been confirmed and officially announced by their manufacturers. Released Windows Phone 7.0 First generation devices come with Windows Phone 7 preinstalled and can be updated to Windows Phone 7.5 and 7.8 OS. Windows Phone 7
Windows Phone 7 is the first release of the Windows Phone mobile client operating system, released worldwide on October 21, 2010, and in the United States on November 8, 2010. It runs on the Windows CE 6.0 kernel. It received multiple large updates, the last being Windows Phone 7.8, which was released in January 2013 and added a few features backported from Windows Phone 8, such as a more customizable start screen. Microsoft ended support for Windows Phone 7 on October 14, 2014. It was succeeded by Windows Phone 8, which was released on October 29, 2012. LG Optimus 7
The LG Optimus 7 (also known as the LG-E900) is a slate smartphone which runs Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system. The Optimus 7 is part of the first-generation Windows Phone line-up launched in October 2010. Technical issues Update issues Several users reported an error while updating their handsets to Windows Phone 7.5 via Zune which only seemed to affect users with firmware versions 1.0.1.12 and 1.1.2.10. Newer versions of the firmware do not seem to have this problem. Certain users have reported the error has been removed after re-flashing their device ROM via an Authorised LG Support Center or restoring the previous version of their device and updating to Mango again. Nokia Lumia 510 is a budget Windows Phone 7 smartphone developed by Nokia designed specifically for developing markets, such as China, India, Asia-Pacific and Latin America, running the Windows Phone 7.5 (later Windows Phone 7.8) operating system. Unveiled on 23 September 2012, it was released in November of the same year. The phone shares the limitations of the Nokia Lumia 610, like not being able to run all Windows Phone applications and not being able to run all background tasks. The HTC Titan (stylized and marketed as uppercase HTC TITAN; also known as the HTC Eternity in China, and HTC Ultimate in Brazil), is a smartphone running the Windows Phone OS 7.5 (codename Mango) operating system. The phone was designed and manufactured by HTC Corporation. It is the successor to the HTC HD7. Description HTC announced the HTC Titan on September 1, 2011, in London. It has a 4.7-inch S-LCD screen which was the largest available on any Windows Phone at the time of its release. The HTC Titan also has a 1.5 GHz processor with 512 MB RAM and 16 GB internal memory. A compass is a device that shows the cardinal directions used for navigation and geographic orientation.
