Most villages in this county have Norwegian language names, but many areas also have Sami language and Kven language names. This is especially common in the bilingual municipalities of Tana, Nesseby, Porsanger, Kautokeino, and Karasjok. When there are multiple official names for a village, they are included in this list. Finnmark
Finnmark (; se, Finnmárku ; fkv, Finmarku; fi, Ruija ; russian: Финнмарк) was a county in the northern part of Norway, and it is scheduled to become a county again in 2024. On 1 January 2020, Finnmark was merged with the neighbouring county of Troms to form the new Troms og Finnmark county. On 1 January 2024, the county will be demerged back to the counties Finnmark and Troms, after a decision made by parliament on 15 June 2022. By land, it bordered Troms county to the west, Finland ( Lapland region) to the south, and Russia (Murmansk Oblast) to the east, and by water, the Norwegian Sea (Atlantic Ocean) to the northwest, and the Barents Sea (Arctic Ocean) to the north and northeast. The county was formerly known as ''Finmarkens amt'' or ''Vardøhus amt''. Starting in 2002, it had two official names: Finnmark (Norwegian) and Finnmárku (Northern Sami). Hammerfest (; sme, Hámmerfeasta ) is a municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. Hammerfest is the northernmost town in the world with more than 10,000 inhabitants. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Hammerfest. Some of the main villages in the municipality include Rypefjord, Kvalsund, Forsøl, Hønsebybotn, Akkarfjord i Kvaløya, Akkarfjord i Sørøya, and Kårhamn. Berlevåg Komm
( sme, Bearalváhki) is a municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Øst-Finnmark. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Berlevåg. There are two settlements in the municipality of Berlevåg: the village of Berlevåg and the village of Kongsfjord. The village of Berlevåg is by far the biggest; Kongsfjord only has around 45 inhabitants. Kjølnes Lighthouse is located along the shore, east of the village of Berlevåg. Berlevåg (village)
Berlevåg is the administrative centre of Berlevåg Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The village is located on the northeastern coast of the Varanger Peninsula along the Barents Sea. The village lies along Norwegian County Road 890, just east of Berlevåg Airport. The Hurtigruten coastal express boats stop daily at Berlevåg. The village has a population (2017) of 948 which gives the village a population density of . About 95% of the municipal residents live in this village. Berlevåg is one of the largest fishing villages in Finnmark county. It has several fish processing plants, a large harbor, and public services. Berlevåg Church is located in the village, and Kjølnes Lighthouse is located about to the east of the village. There are four large breakwaters protecting the village from the ocean. Bergsfjord
Bergsfjord is a village in Loppa Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The village is located on the mainland part of Loppa Municipality, along the Bergsfjorden, across from the island of Silda. The village of Sør-Tverrfjord lies about to the southwest, across the fjord. The Svartfjellet mountain lies about straight east of the village, alongside the Svartfjelljøkelen glacier.
