Stephan Sturm (born 1963) is a German businessman, and the chief executive officer (CEO) of Fresenius since July 2016. Early life Sturm was born in Worms, Germany in 1963. He earned a degree in business administration from the University of Mannheim. Career Sturm began his career in 1989 as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. Subsequently he served in various positions in the investment banking sector for 13 years, including BHF Bank, UBS and CSFB. Knut Borchardt
Knut Borchardt (2 June 1929 – 5 February 2023) was a German researcher, historian and former professor for history and economics at both the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the University of Mannheim from 1962 to 1991. Moreover, he served as rector at the University of Mannheim between 1967 and 1969. Education Borchardt was born in Berlin, Germany. He studied from 1949 to 1954 economics, business administration, history and German studies at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich where he obtained his ''Diplom'' (former German master's equivalent) in 1954. Elisabeth Altmann-Gottheiner
Elisabeth Altmann-Gottheiner (March 26, 1874 – October 21, 1930) was one of the first women to become a university lecturer in Germany and a women's rights activist. She was born in Berlin. In 1904, she received a doctorate in Zurich, Switzerland. By 1908, she was a lecturer at the economic College in Mannheim, and by 1924 had a professorship in economics. She died in Mannheim, aged 56. Werner Abelshauser (born 24 November 1944 in Wiesloch near Heidelberg) is a German economic historian. Life Abelshauser studied economics at the University of Mannheim and graduated in 1970. He received his PhD at Ruhr University Bochum in 1973 with his dissertation on West German economy 1945–1948. In 1980 he was appointed as Professor for economic and social history in Bochum.
