Below is a list of Ugandan first-class cricketers. first-class cricket, First-class cricket matches are those between international teams or the highest standard of domestic teams in which teams have two innings each. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The etymology of "first-class cricket" is unknown, but it was used loosely before it acquired official status in 1895, following a meeting of leading English clubs. At a meeting of the Imperial Cricket Conference (ICC) in 1947, it was formally defined on a global basis. A significant omission of the ICC ruling was any attempt to define first-class cricket retrospectively. Tendo Mbazzi
Tendo Lubwama Mbazzi (born 17 October 1974) is a Ugandan former international cricketer who represented both East and Central Africa and the Ugandan national team. He played as a right-arm medium-pace bowler. Early life Mbazzi was born in Mulago, Uganda. He is the son of international cricketer Sam Walusimbi. Cricket career Mbazzi represented the combined East and Central Africa team at the 1997 ICC Trophy. He played in all six of his team's matches, taking five wickets. Charles Waiswa (born 29 December 1987) is an Ugandan cricketer who played in the 2005 ICC Trophy in Ireland. He spent a short period of time in the Nottinghamshire Premier Cricket league at Killamarsh Juniors Cricket Club in England. He has joined Newark based club Newark Ransome & Marles CC for the 2011 season as their overseas player. Kishore Vasani (date of birth unknown) was a Ugandan first-class cricketer. Vasani played minor matches for Uganda from 1956 to 1970. In 1962 he played for East Africa in a minor match against an International XI at Nairobi, during which Basil D'Oliveira struck five sixes off of the bowling of Vasani or the Tanzania C. D. Patel. Upendra Raojibhai Patel (born 1942) is a Ugandan former first-class cricketer. Patel was born in Uganda Protectorate in 1942. Patel made a single appearance in first-class cricket for the East Africa cricket team against the touring Indians at Kampala in 1967.
