Baghbanpura
Baghbanpura ( ur, ) is a town and Union Council of Shalimar tehsil, Lahore District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is located along the Grand Trunk Road some 5 kilometres northeast of the main Lahore city. The site for Baghbanpura was granted by Mughal Empire Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan to Mian Muhammad Yousaf s/o Mian Muhammad Ishaq in lieu of giving his private village land Ishaq Pur as a gift to emperor for the construction of Shalimar Garden. Later Baghbanpura became home town of Arain Mian family who Mughal Empiror Shah Jehan also granted the custodianship of the Shalimar Gardens. The word Baghbanpura literally means 'Town of Gardeners', as this place originally used to be surrounded by many gardens mostly owned by Arain Mian family itself. Krishan Nagar
Krishan Nagar is part of the Islampura neighbourhood of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. During British Raj, in 1930s came a change in the development of middle class localities in Lahore and areas like Krishan Nagar and Sant Nagar were established. They were planned, geometrical in layout and had parks, sewage and drinking water facilities. In the houses in these areas, roofs of the rooms were high like British bungalows. These housing areas were an improved version of the old architecture of Lahore. After the independence of Pakistan in 1947, the Hindu residents migrated to India. The area became mainly a residential quarter, heavily populated with Muslims. In 1992, after repeated protests from Muslims groups, Krishan Nagar and Sant Nagar were merged and renamed Islampura or 'Islam Town' to accurately reflect its demographic composition. Anarkali
Anarkali () was a legendary woman said to be loved by the 16th-century Mughal Prince Salim, who later became Emperor Jahangir. According to some accounts, Anarkali was the nickname of the courtesan Nadira Begum or Sharf-un-Nisa, though scholars hold varying opinions. Harbanspura ( ur, ہربنس پورہ) is a town of Lahore in Punjab. It is located on the bank of a canal and near to the Indian border. It was a jaagir of Raja Harbans Singh. Ghurki, Pakistan
Ghurki (Urdu: گھرکی ) is the name of a village on the outskirts of Lahore, Punjab. This village is named after the Ghurki Arain person who was notorious for being a biggest gold smuggler of asia (Haji Muhammad Asghar Ghurki (late)) along with his brothers Yousaf Ghurki, Ashraf Ghurki and Younas Ghurki. He was entitled as Gold King in Magazines of USA. Haji Muhammad Asghar Ghurki was the founder of Ghurki Hospital. Muhammad Asghar Ghurki became the MNA in 1985 in partyless general elections. Khalid Javed Ghurki, brother of Muhammad Asghar Ghurki and son of Haji Muhammad Asghar ghurki (late) belonging to a known political family of Lahore, Khalid was elected on the Pakistan People's Party's ticket in 1989.
