Loren Gold
Loren Gold is an American keyboardist, vocalist, music director, and songwriter. Gold is the keyboardist and backup vocalist for The Who, and keyboardist/vocalist for the band Chicago. In addition, Loren has been the touring keyboardist and backup vocalist for Roger Daltrey since 2009. Loren also performs with Rita Wilson, and has toured regularly with Don Felder since 2009. Other artists he has toured with include Kenny Loggins, Natalie Maines, and ''American Idol'' winner Taylor Hicks. Gold has been musical director for pop stars Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Hilary Duff, and he continues to build and develop bands for other artists. ''It's Hard'' is the tenth studio album by English rock band the Who. Released on 4 September 1982, it was the last to feature bassist John Entwistle, who died in 2002. It was also the second and final Who studio album with drummer Kenney Jones, as well as the last to be released on Warner Bros. Records in the US. It was released on Polydor Records in the UK, peaking at No. 11, and on Warner Bros. in the US where it peaked at No. 8 on the ''Billboard'' Pop Albums chart. The US rights to both this album and '' Face Dances'' subsequently reverted to the band, who then licensed them to MCA Records (later Geffen Records, itself once distributed by WB) for reissue. The album achieved gold status by the RIAA in the US in November 1982. It was their last album for over two decades until '' Endless Wire'' in 2006. Tim Gorman
Tim Gorman is an American pianist, composer, arranger and record producer. Gorman studied music composition at the University of Portland in Oregon, under Philippe De La Mare, himself a former student of Nadia Boulanger. Biography Gorman graduated in 1974 and went on to work as a session musician, most notably from the 1980s until the present. His work along the way included collaborations with Duane Eddy, Paul Kantner, the Rolling Stones and the Who, and Jefferson Starship. Gorman took part in the recording of the Who's album ''It's Hard'' and the subsequent tour in 1982. In 1984, he was the keyboardist in The V.U. Dick Parry
Richard Parry (born 22 December 1942) is an English saxophonist. He has appeared as a session musician on various albums, most notably in solo parts on the Pink Floyd songs "Money", "Us and Them", "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" and "Wearing the Inside Out". He also played on the Bloodstone album ''Riddle of the Sphinx''. Career Born in Kentford, Suffolk, Parry started his career as a saxophonist in The Soul Committee, a mid-1960s band in Cambridge. He was a friend of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour who played in Jokers Wild, another band in Cambridge. Contrary to some reports, Parry did not play in Jokers Wild. Some years later, Gilmour asked him to play on Pink Floyd studio albums, including ''The Dark Side of the Moon'', ''Wish You Were Here'', and ''The Division Bell'', as well as in every Pink Floyd live performance between 1973 and 1977, and the 1994 world tour. Howie Casey
Howard William Casey (born 12 July 1937) is a British rhythm and blues and rock saxophonist. He came to prominence in the early 1960s as a member of Derry and the Seniors, the first rock and roll band from Liverpool to play clubs in Germany, and later as leader of the renamed Howie Casey and the Seniors, the first Liverpool group to record an LP. He was a sought after session musician, particularly in horn sections in the 1970s, recording and/or touring with groups including Paul McCartney and Wings, T. Rex, The Who and ABC. ''Thirty Years of Maximum R&B'' is a box set by British rock band, The Who released by Polydor Records internationally and by MCA Records in the U.S.; since 2003, it has been issued in America by Geffen Records. The set consists of four CDs that span The Who's career from their early days when they were known as The High Numbers 1964 to their 1991 cover of Elton John's "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting". It contains well-known tracks from studio albums, rarities, interviews, commercials, and sketches. A video titled '' Thirty Years of Maximum R&B Live'' was also released in 1994. Join Together (album)
''Join Together'' is a box set of live material released from The Who's 1989 25th Anniversary Tour. Several of the tracks were recorded at Radio City Music Hall, New York, and at Universal Amphitheatre, Los Angeles, with the rest from various other concerts during the tour. The live rendition of ''Tommy'' (1969) was compiled from two charity shows, on 27 June at New York City's Radio City Music Hall and on 24 August at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. Songs from disc two originated from 6 concerts (verified by comparison with audience recordings from the tour). It was released in 1990 by Virgin Records in the UK and MCA Records in the US. The album was released in the US as a vinyl three LP set in March 1990, where it reached #180 in the US charts. It was also released on cassette tape, and later released on MCA as a two-CD set. John "Rabbit" Bundrick
John Douglas "Rabbit" Bundrick (born November 21, 1948 in Houston, Texas) is an American–English rock keyboardist. He is best known for his work with The Who and associations with others including Eric Burdon, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Roger Waters, Free and Crawler. Bundrick is noted as the principal musician for the cult film ''The Rocky Horror Picture Show''. In the mid-1970s, he was a member of the short-lived group Mallard, formed by ex-members of Captain Beefheart's Magic Band. He is also known as a composer and has recorded solo albums. ''Tommy and Quadrophenia Live'' is a 3-disc DVD box set that includes performances by The Who from their 1989 (the ''Tommy'' portion) and 1996-1997 tours (the ''Quadrophenia'' portion). Whilst the ''Tommy'' part of the set had been already released on VHS, material from the ''Quadrophenia'' Tour had not been commercially available previously. Billy Nicholls
William Morris Nicholls Jr (born 15 February 1949) is an English singer, songwriter, composer, record producer, and musical director. He was born into a musical family, his father Billy Nicholls (Sr.) being a double bassist and big band singer, performing with such bands as The Oscar Rabin Romany Band (Hammersmith Palais), Alan Green with his boys, the RAF band The Squadronaires and later performed on radio with Will Hay with Royal Command Performances. Nicholls first gained fame in the 1960s while still a teenager with his ''Pet Sounds''-influenced album, '' Would You Believe'', originally released on Immediate Records. Nicholls' compositions have been covered by many artists. His first success came in 1977 when Leo Sayer covered "I Can't Stop Loving You (Though I Try)"; it rose to No. 7 in the UK Singles Chart.
