This is a list of stories of the British science fiction series, ''The Tomorrow People''. It was originally broadcast from 1973 to 1979, with a revival series airing from 1992 to 1995. ITV broadcast the original series of ''The Tomorrow People'' in the 1970s. Nickelodeon broadcast the original 1970s version in the United States in the early 1980s, and broadcast all five stories from the 1990s series in the United States and Australia. The Seven Network in Australia broadcast the original series, as did Television New Zealand. The Tomorrow People
''The Tomorrow People'' is a British children's science fiction television series created by Roger Price. Produced by Thames Television for the ITV Network, the series first ran from 30 April 1973 to 19 February 1979. The theme music was composed by Australian music composer, Dudley Simpson, who composed music for two BBC science fiction dramas, ''Doctor Who'' (1963) and ''Blake’s 7'' (1978). In 1992, after having much success with replays of the original series in America, Nickelodeon requested Price and Thames Television for a new version to be piloted and filmed at Nickelodeon Studios Florida in April 1992, with Price acting as executive producer. This version used the same basic premise as the original series with some changes, and ran until 8 March 1995. A series of audio plays using the original concept and characters (and many of the original series' actors) was produced by Big Finish Productions between 2001 and 2007. Paul Bernard (director)
Paul Bernard (20 June 1929 – 25 September 1997) was an English television director and production designer. Bernard was born in London, England. As a designer he worked on series including ''The Avengers''. His direction credits include ''Coronation Street'', ''The Tomorrow People'', ''Z-Cars'', four episodes of ''Virgin of the Secret Service'' (1968) (for which he also worked as a supervising producer with Robert D. Ken Farrington
Kenneth William Farrington (born 18 April 1936) is a retired English actor. He first came to fame playing the role of Billy Walker, wayward son of publican Annie, in ITV's long-running soap opera, ''Coronation Street''. Following a brief period as a film actor, Farrington secured the role of power-hungry Tom King in ''Emmerdale''. After the character's high-profile death in December 2006, Farrington largely retired from acting, although he has appeared in occasional TV roles since then. Personal life Farrington was born in Dulwich, South London, and attended Alleyn's School. He was married to actress Patricia Heneghan from 1961 to 1981; they have two children. He was taught by Michael Croft, who advised him not to take up acting as a professional. David Prowse
David Charles Prowse (1 July 1935 – 28 November 2020) was an English actor, bodybuilder and weightlifter. He portrayed Darth Vader (voiced by American actor James Earl Jones) in the original ''Star Wars'' trilogy and a manservant in Stanley Kubrick's 1971 film ''A Clockwork Orange''. In 2015, he starred in two documentaries concerning his Darth Vader role, one entitled ''The Force's Mouth'' which included Prowse voicing Darth Vader's lines with studio effects applied for the first time, and the other entitled '' I Am Your Father'' covering the subject of fallout between Prowse and Lucasfilm. Mercury (planet)
Mercury is the smallest planet in the Solar System and the closest to the Sun. Its orbit around the Sun takes 87.97 Earth days, the shortest of all the Sun's planets. The Tower of London, officially His Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London, is a historic castle on the north bank of the River Thames in central London. It lies within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, which is separated from the eastern edge of the square mile of the City of London by the open space known as Tower Hill. It was founded towards the end of 1066 as part of the Norman Conquest. Francis Marie de Wolff (7 January 191318 April 1984) was an English character actor. Large, bearded, and beetle-browed, he was often cast as villains in both film and television. Odyssey
The ''Odyssey'' (; grc, Ὀδύσσεια, Odýsseia, ) is one of two major Ancient Greek literature, ancient Greek Epic poetry, epic poems attributed to Homer. It is one of the oldest extant works of literature still widely read by modern audiences. As with the ''Iliad'', the poem is divided into 24 books.
