List Of The Podge And Rodge Show Episodes
This is a list of episodes of ''The Podge and Rodge Show'', with airdates and the relevant guests of the episode in question. A talk show broadcast and produced by RTÉ, for the first three seasons Podge and Rodge were joined by Lucy Kennedy as a co-host. In the fourth season up until Christmas 2008, they were joined by female guest hosts following Kennedy's departure. Caroline Morahan joined as co-host when the fourth season returned on 9 February 2009. The programme aired each Monday and Tuesday at 22:50 on RTÉ Two from February to April and from October to December with a hiatus during the summer months. The fourth season began on 20 October 2008 and ended on 14 April 2009 and was the last to be filmed in then original Ballydung Manor set. Season five was a truncated season shot in the Stickit Inn set. ''The Podge and Rodge Show'' is a talk show, broadcast and produced by RTÉ. For the first three seasons Podge and Rodge were joined by Lucy Kennedy as a co-host but for the first half of the fourth season they were joined by guest hosts including Michelle Heaton, after Kennedy took insult to being called "every name under the sun from bisto to an ugly Gráinne Seoige". Following a mid-season hiatus, Caroline Morahan took on the role of permanent co-host in February 2009. The programme airs every Monday and Tuesday at 22:50 on RTÉ Two from February to April and from October to December with a hiatus during the summer months. The series came to an end on 27 April 2010, with Kennedy appearing as a guest on the final episode of the fifth series. The show was relaunched in October 2018 with host Doireann Garrihy, but cancelled in March 2019. David Fanning (born 27 February 1956) is an Irish television and radio broadcaster, rock journalist, DJ, film critic and author. Paolo Tullio
Paolo Luigi Mario Tullio (; 1949 – 5 June 2015) was a writer and a Michelin star-winning head chef of the former restaurant Armstrong's Barn in Annamoe, County Wicklow. Tullio came to Ireland in 1968 to study English, arts and philosophy at Trinity College, where he obtained an MA. After his study he held several jobs, working as a clinical psychologist in St. Brendan's Hospital, an interpreter and as a cattle-agent. Armstrong's Barn In 1977 Tullio took over Armstrong's Barn, serving food in a traditional Irish style. The restaurant closed in 1988. Tullio did not sell the building when he closed the restaurant, instead he changed it into a recording studio. It was not a big hit so he held several other jobs to pay the bills such as acting as a voice-over artist for commercials. After the demise of the studio, he renovated the building and turned it into a house. Síle Seoige (; born 13 April 1979) is an Irish television presenter. She has sometimes been referred to as Sheila. Early life Seoige was born in An Spidéal, County Galway, the youngest of four children, to parents Mairtín and Philomena. She attended Scoil Mhuire at primary level and Coláiste Chroí Mhuire at secondary level. Thomas Dunne is an Irish radio broadcaster with Newstalk, and a singer/songwriter with the band Something Happens. Prior to joining Newstalk, Dunne worked on Today FM, presenting his very successful and hugely popular radio program, "Pet Sounds" which began airing in 1999. She came to prominence in the late 1980s when she began to play with her family's band, the Black Family, performing a mix of traditional and contemporary Irish music. Richard "Dickie" Rock (born 10 October 1936) is an Irish singer. He experienced much success on the Irish charts during the 1960s, but has continued on as a popular live act as well as occasionally hitting the charts ever since. Early fame Rock was born in the North Strand, Dublin and raised in Cabra on Dublin's Northside. Between 1963 and 1972, he was one of the frontmen of the Miami Showband (who were later in the headlines due to the Miami Showband killings incident).
