Chapultepec Uno
Chapultepec Uno R509, previously Punto Chapultepec, is a skyscraper in Mexico City at the corner of Paseo de la Reforma and Río Ródano street, immediately west of Torre Mayor. Chapultepec Uno is Mexico City's third tallest building upon completion at 241m and 58 stories high. Part of the tower will be occupied by The Ritz Carlton Mexico City which is expected to open in Autumn 2021. Previous buildings on site In 2005 there was a project to remodel the existing towers on the lot, Torre Reforma 509 and Torre Reforma 506, but it was not successful. Hotel Riu Plaza Guadalajara is a skyscraper located in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. At , it is the city and metropolitan area's tallest building and the fifth highest in Mexico. Construction began in March 2009, and opened in June 2011. It has 44 habitable floors, holding 550 rooms, in addition to restaurants, meeting rooms and a 44th floor penthouse. The Pemex Executive Tower ( es, Torre Ejecutiva Pemex) is a skyscraper in Mexico City. The international style tower was built between 1979 and 1984. Since the building's opening, it has been occupied by state-owned Pemex, one of the largest petroleum companies in the world. History The Pemex Executive Tower originally proposed to replace two 14-story towers built between 1967 and 1970. Later, these buildings were replaced by a pair of 26-story towers to house Pemex's administrative offices. However, the 1980s oil boom demanded office space growth and Pemex decided to build a single 51-story tower in a downtown lot with a huge plaza covering an underground avenue. The building is anchored to the ground, resting on 164 concrete and steel piles that penetrate to a depth of 35 meters surpassing the old filling swampy lake to reach firmer ground. The Torre Mayor (literally "Major Tower") is a skyscraper in Mexico City, Mexico. With a height of 225 meters (738 feet) to the top floor and 55 stories, it is the third tallest building in Mexico. It was surpassed in height by Torre BBVA Bancomer in 2015, which in turn was surpassed by Torre Reforma. From its completion in 2003 until 2010 (when it was surpassed by the residential 236 meter (774 ft) high Ocean Two in Panama City, Panama) it was also the tallest building in Latin America.
