Most of the tallest buildings in Kenya are found in Nairobi, the capital and largest city in the country. In Nairobi, there are 18 buildings that stand taller than and several under construction. The tallest building in the city is the new 32-storey, Britam Towers. The second-tallest building in the city is the 43-storey, GTC Office Tower. The most recent skyscrapers to be constructed are Prism Tower, Le'Mac and FCB Mirhab Tower. Nairobi's history of towers began with the IPS Building (1967), the Hilton Nairobi (1969), the NSSF Building (1973), and the Kenyatta International Conference Centre in 1974. Rahimtulla Tower
Rahimtulla Tower, also known as the Rahimtulla Trust Building, is a tower in the Upper Hill neighbourhood of Nairobi, Kenya. The tower is a reinforced concrete structure, and clad with blue-tinted glass and white louvre tiles. The tower has twenty-two storeys, including a double floor-height lobby, plus two basement floors. It is 16 storeys smaller than the New Central Bank Tower and the second tallest building in the country after the UAP Old Mutual Tower. The building is capped by a 30-metre high mast, for television and radio communication. The main tenants are iWay Africa, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Dhanush InfoTech. The architect is Planning Systems Services, the structural engineers Mangat, I.B. Nyayo House is a skyscraper in Nairobi, Kenya. It hosts several government departments such as immigration (the State Department for Immigration, Border Control, and Regulation of Persons) and also serves as the headquarters of Nairobi Province. The Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), formerly the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, is a 28-story building located in Nairobi, Kenya.
