State highway loops in Texas are owned and maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). Loop 401 Loop 401 was located in Scurry County. It was designated on August 31, 1964, when US 84 was bypassed around Snyder. The route was signed as a business route of US 84. On June 21, 1990, Loop 401 was cancelled and redesignated Business US 84. Loop 402 Loop 402 was designated on December 18, 1964, along the old routing of US 80 through Big Spring. Val Verde County is a county located on the southern Edwards Plateau in the U.S. state of Texas. The 2020 population is 47,586. Its county seat is Del Rio. In 1936, Val Verde County received Recorded Texas Historic Landmark number 5625 to commemorate its founding. Val Verde, which means "green valley", was named for a battle of the American Civil War. In 1862, soldiers of Sibley's Brigade took part in the Texas invasion of New Mexico Territory, where they captured several artillery pieces at the Battle of Val Verde. La Porte ( ) is a city in Harris County, Texas, United States, within the Bay Area of the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 35,124. La Porte is the fourth-largest incorporated city in Harris County. State Highway 146 (SH 146) is a north–south highway in southeastern Texas beginning at I-45 near La Marque and Texas City. It then crosses over the Fred Hartman Bridge over the Houston Ship Channel which carries SH 146 traffic. It then continues north towards Dayton, where it meets US 90 and then heads north and terminates in Livingston at US 59 (Future I-69). Interstate 410 (abbreviated I-410, and colloquially called Loop 410) is a loop route of I-10 around San Antonio, Texas. It is identified as Connally Loop in honor of former Texas Governor John Connally. Route description I-410 circumnavigates the city of San Antonio, officially beginning and ending at the junction with I-35 on the southwest side of the loop. There are vast differences between the northern arc and southern arc of the loop. The northern arc serves the heavily urbanized portions of San Antonio and is currently being upgraded to as many as five lanes in each direction. Texas State Highway Loop 13
Loop 13 is a partial loop route around the city of San Antonio in the U.S. state of Texas. Prior to I-410, Loop 13 served as the primary loop for the city. Part of the road was eventually turned into part of I-410. It follows Military Drive from US 90 through the south side of the city. It then follows W.W. White Road after it turns to the north through the east side of San Antonio before ending at I-410. The road is still a major arterial for the city, providing access to Lackland Air Force Base, Kelly USA, and Brooks City-Base. Interstate 35 (I-35) in Texas is a major north–south Interstate Highway running from Laredo near the Mexican border to the Red River north of Gainesville where it crosses into Oklahoma. Along its route, it passes through the cities of San Antonio, Austin, and Waco before it splits into two auxiliary routes just north of Hillsboro. I-35E heads northeast where it passes through Dallas. I-35W turns northwest to run through Fort Worth.
