List Of Standard Zoom Lenses
This is a list of standard zoom lenses that are designed for mirrorless cameras — limit one per brand, focal length, aperture, and zoom mechanism combination. There is no precise definition of the term, but lenses marketed as "standard zoom" usually cover a range of at least 30mm to 70mm in terms of 35mm equivalent focal length with an optical zoom ratio of 2.5× (e.g. 28-70mm) to 5× (e.g. 24-120mm) — the most common being 3× (e.g. 24-70mm). They are called standard zoom lenses, because the midpoint of their zoom range is around 50mm, which is considered a standard or "Normal lens, normal" field of view. The Canon EF-M lens mount, introduced in 2012, is a derivative of the Canon EF lens mount designed for use with the Canon EOS M mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera. Build quality The lens showcases a minimalist black metal exterior with a Zeiss badge on the side of the barrel and no zoom lock to prevent zoom creep. Both the zoom and focus rings are metal. The barrel of the lens telescopes outward from the main lens body as it's zoomed in from 16mm to 70mm. Image quality The lens has a tendency to be soft in the corners and toward the 70mm end of the lens' zoom range. However, the lens remains extremely sharp throughout the rest of the lens' zoom range with very minimal vignetting, distortion, and chromatic aberration. The Fujifilm X-mount is a type of interchangeable lens mount designed by Fujifilm for use in those cameras in their X-series line that have interchangeable-lenses. These lenses are designed for 23.6mm x 15.6mm APS-C sensors. Various lens manufacturers use this mount, such as Fujifilm's own XF and XC lenses, Carl Zeiss AG (Touit lenses), Samyang Optics, Handevision, SLR Magic, Viltrox and Zhongyi Optics. Samsung NX-mount
The Samsung NX-mount is the lens mount used on NX series mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras by Samsung. The mount was first implemented in the Samsung NX10, and Samsung initially referred to the NX line as 'hybrid digital cameras', citing their combination of attributes of both DSLR and compact cameras. The mount is designed for APS-C image sensors, with a 1.54x crop factor. Optical image stabilization is featured on some of the lenses, indicated by an "OIS" marking. Automatic focusing on NX lenses is handled by a dedicated electric motor built into the lens.
