List Of Spanish Football Transfers Summer 2013
This is a list of Spanish football transfers for the 2013–14 season of La Liga and the Segunda División. Only moves from La Liga and the Segunda División are listed. The summer transfer window began on 1 July 2013, although a few transfers took place prior to that date. The window closed at midnight on 2 September 2013. Players without a club could join one at any time, either during or in between transfer windows. Clubs below La Liga level could also sign players on loan at any time. If need be, clubs could sign a goalkeeper on an emergency loan, if all others were unavailable. Where there is no flag, the player or club can be assumed to be Spanish or affiliated to the Royal Spanish Football Federation. 2013–14 La Liga
The 2013–14 La Liga season (known as the ''Liga BBVA'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 83rd since its establishment. Match days were drawn on 9 July 2013. The season began on 17 August 2013 and concluded on 18 May 2014; all top-flight European leagues ended earlier than the previous season due to the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup. Elche CF, Elche, Villarreal CF, Villarreal and UD Almería, Almería competed in La Liga this season after being promoted from the 2012–13 Segunda División, second tier. Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid CF, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, Barcelona traded the lead several times throughout the season.
