Bernie Taupin is an English lyricist, poet, and singer. In his long-term collaboration with Elton John, he has written the lyrics for most of John's songs. Over the years, he has written songs for a variety of other artists, including Alice Cooper, Heart, Melissa Manchester, Starship, Rod Stewart and Richie Sambora. Taupin and John began writing together in 1967 and, aside from brief periods apart working on other projects, the two have been collaborating ever since. Their newest album, Wonderful Crazy Night, was released in early 2016. Taupin has also released three solo albums and was a member of the short-lived group Farm Dogs, which released two albums in the mid-late 1990s. Bernie Taupin
Bernard John Taupin (born 22 May 1950) is an English songwriter, singer and visual artist. He is best known for his long-term collaboration with musician Elton John, a songwriting partnership that is one of the most successful in history. Taupin has written the lyrics for most of John's songs. In 1967, Taupin answered an advertisement in the music paper ''New Musical Express'' placed by Liberty Records, a company that was seeking new songwriters. John responded to the same advertisement and they were brought together, collaborating on many albums since. Taupin and John were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1992. Norberto Juan Ortiz Osborne (born 7 December 1954), better known as Bertín Osborne, is a Spanish vocalist, actor and TV personality. He was born in Madrid, but raised in Puerto de Santa María and later in Jerez de la Frontera. His maternal surname comes from a great-great-great grandfather who immigrated from Exeter, England to Puerto de Santa María, Spain during the late 18th century and founded the Osborne Group wine company. Animotion is an American synth-pop band from Los Angeles, California, best known for the songs " Obsession", "Let Him Go", "I Engineer", and " Room to Move". Formed in 1983 from the remnants of a retro science-fiction band called Red Zone, they signed a record deal with Mercury Records in 1984 and released four studio albums.
