The Story So Far is an American pop punk band from Walnut Creek, California, formed in 2007. They are currently signed to Pure Noise Records and have released 4 studio albums. History Formation and early releases (2007–2010) The Story So Far formed in Walnut Creek, California in 2007. Their name is taken from the New Found Glory song "The Story So Far". The band consisted of Parker Cannon on vocals, Kevin Geyer on lead guitar, Kevin Ambrose on rhythm guitar, Ryan Torf on drums, and Kelen Capener on bass. On December 22, the band released the ''5 Songs'' EP. Ambrose parted ways with the band when he went to college in 2010 and was replaced by William Levy. In March 2010 it was announced the band had signed to Pure Noise. Two months later the band released an EP, ''While You Were Sleeping'' (2010). In November, the band released a split with Maker. ''What You Don't See'' is the second studio album by American pop punk band The Story So Far. Background The Story So Far signed to Pure Noise in March 2010. The band released their debut album in June 2011. The band supported We Are the Union and I Call Fives in July. The band toured alongside Heartsounds and Handguns in August. The band supported Senses Fail in November. From late February to early March 2012 the band went on the Pure Noise Records Tour alongside Handguns, I Call Fives, Daybreaker, The American Scene and Forever Came Calling. In early November, the band supported New Found Glory on the Road to Warped Tour in the UK. From late November to mid-December, the band supported New Found Glory on the 10th anniversary tour for their '' Sticks and Stones'' album. Steve Klein (musician)
Stephen Lee "Steve" Klein (born September 29, 1979) is an American musician and record producer. He is most famous for being the co-founder of Florida rock group New Found Glory, for whom he was the primary lyricist and rhythm guitarist. Career and Arrest Having formed New Found Glory with frontman Jordan Pundik in 1997, Klein performed on seven of the band's ten studio albums. Klein also contributed guitar to the band's now defunct alter-ego side project, The International Superheroes of Hardcore, where he was known under the pseudonym of " Mr. Mosh". Klein made his production debut in 2011, on Man Overboard's self titled second album. The band announced in December 2013 that Klein was no longer in the band, due to "personal differences." Background The Story So Far formed in Walnut Creek, California in 2007. ''The Story So Far'' is the third studio album by American pop punk band The Story So Far. The album was released through Pure Noise in May 2015. The album charted at number 23 in the U.S. and at number 70 in the UK. Background While on the 2014 edition of Warped Tour, The Story So Far was interviewed by AbsolutePunk. Bassist Kelen Capener was queried when the band was going to begin working on a new album. Capener explained that after touring obligations for the year, and partway into the next year, they are going to take some time off to write new material. Pinback is an American indie rock band from San Diego, California. The band was formed in 1998 by singers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Armistead Burwell Smith IV and Rob Crow, who have been its two consistent members. They have released five studio albums and several other releases. "Waiting in Vain" is a song written by reggae musician Bob Marley and recorded by Bob Marley & The Wailers, for his 1977 album '' Exodus''. Released as a single, it hit number twenty-seven in the UK Singles Chart. The single was one of only a few of Marley's Island singles to feature a non-album B-Side, this being the song "Roots", an outtake from the ''Rastaman Vibration'' sessions. This later appeared on the compilation '' Rebel Music'' and on '' Exodus (Deluxe Edition)''. The 1981 reissue of Waiting in Vain featured a megamix called ''Marley Mix Up Medley'' instead. A Loss for Words (formerly Last Ride) was an American pop punk band from Abington, Massachusetts. History Early years (1999–2004) Matty Arsenault and Danny Poulin from Lions Lions started a new band, Last Ride Pony Rides and, in 1999, it would soon feature Kreg Dudley, Chris Murphy, and Evan Cordeiro. The band had five names listed in a notebook before they changed it, and one of the names was A Loss for Words. The band would change its name to A Loss for Words after attending a minister's service.
