This is a comprehensive list of songs recorded by Welsh rock band Stereophonics. This list includes songs from the band's ten studio albums, one compilation album, one live album, A-side and B-side#Double B-side, B-sides from twenty-three of forty singles plus other featured appearances. As the first act signed to V2 Records, Stereophonics started officially releasing songs in 1996 with their first A-side and B-side#Double A-side, double A-side single, "Looks like Chaplin", which was not applicable to chart. Their second single, "Local Boy in the Photograph", charted at number fifty-one on the UK Singles Chart and has since been viewed as a classic. The debut album ''Word Gets Around'' was released in 1997 and reached number six in the UK Albums Chart. Parlophone Records Limited (also known as Parlophone Records and Parlophone) is a German–British record label founded in Germany in 1896 by the Carl Lindström Company as Parlophon. The British branch of the label was founded on 8 August 1923 as the Parlophone Company Limited (the Parlophone Co. Ltd.), which developed a reputation in the 1920s as a jazz record label. On 5 October 1926, the Columbia Graphophone Company acquired Parlophone's business, name, logo, and release library, and merged with the Gramophone Company on 31 March 1931 to become Electric & Musical Industries Limited (EMI). ''Scream Above the Sounds'' is the tenth studio album by Welsh rock band Stereophonics. Released on 27 October 2017 by Parlophone Records, it was produced by lead singer and guitarist Kelly Jones, along with Jim Lowe. Background In 2015, Stereophonics released their ninth studio album, '' Keep the Village Alive'', and supported it with the Keep the Summer Alive Tour throughout late-spring and summer 2016. During the tour, Kelly Jones announced he would like to release the band's tenth studio album "before next summer" to commemorate the 20th anniversary of ''Word Gets Around'', rather than release a compilation album. Released by Mercury on 16 November 2009, the album debuted at number 11 with sales of 42,771 on the UK Albums Chart, the lowest position for a studio album released by the band. The album was named after a British World War II poster of the same name. ''Keep Calm and Carry On'' was the first studio album by the band to feature guitarist Adam Zindani as a permanent member of the band. In the initial months after release, fans could access bonus content from the band's website with their copy of the album. Kelly Jones
Kelly Jones (born 3 June 1974) is a Welsh singer-songwriter and a founding member, lead singer, and guitarist of the rock band Stereophonics. Early life and debut Kelly Jones was born youngest of three boys for Beryl and Arwyn Jones in the small Welsh former mining village of Cwmaman, Rhondda Cynon Taf, spending his childhood with them and his two older brothers, Kevin and Lee. Both of his parents worked in factories. His father coached youth football and pursued his own singing career. The name of Arwyn's backing band, Oscar and the Kingfishers, earned him the nickname 'Oscar' among friends and family. He went on to secure a record deal with Polydor, who renamed him 'Arwyn Davidson' due to the sheer number of Joneses in the music business at the time.
